Title: Great features and operation
Review: I was impressed with the performance and selection of attachments. The reusable filter and option to use a bag for smaller particulate vacuuming is important to me. Good auction and the option of using the blowing feature makes it well rounded utility. I have not yet used for wet, however expect it to give similar good results. All this and it’s much quieter than I expected.

Title: Super vacuum
Review: I have a large 1 in the garage that I use for wet/dry purposes. Have brought it into the house once or twice to vacuum rugs n floors because it's so powerful. Well then I thought why not purchase the smaller version for just indoors. The suction capability is better than any vacuum I've owned and being smaller it's easier and lighter to maneuver around. I have 4 dogs and the carpeting on the staircases canget linty and dirty quickly. This bad boy picks up everything in one pass.I attached a toiletry bag to hold attachments. Now I could put more accessory tools in this bag then what was provided with order. Now the attachments roll around with me for easier access. Some folks state you cant buy replacement bags, sure you can just get the DEWALT DXVA19-4101 Dust Bag, they fit the 6-10 gallon vacs.I dont use the bags I just empty the canister, when the filter gets dirty I'll just hose it or blow dry it outside.

Title: Great all around, and quiet
Review: The vacuum does a great job at dry and wet pickup. It's light, maneuverable, powerful yet quiet. Can be used as a blower as well. Comes with attachments. The filter bag seemed oversized, however, and it scrunched up inside when installing. Also, the cord could be longer and a cord management loop was lacking.

Title: Absolutely awesome for the size, I like it better than the rigid 6 gallon
Review: This shop vac is great, rolls easily, the hose is felixble, has sa built in rubber strap for the hose to wrap around which works great. I am a general contractor and I have a Rigid equivalent for my business but I like the DeWalt better. The rigid is shorter but wider, meaning it takes up more room for transport, and while they both have about the same suction force (which is very strong) the DeWalt is quieter. It's not a huge difference, but enough to be noticeable. On that subject, this shop vac is the quietest I've ever owned and it has perfect suction, separating the halves is super easy and the latches are thick and seem durable. I wish it had some sort of onboard storage, maybe a plastic ring around the base for holding attachments, but I believe it came with a mesh bag to hold them for you. The power cord is long and of high quality, which is also true of the rigid, I like the hose on the DeWalt better as it seems more flexible and no less durable. Filter is easy to remove and clean on both, power switch is large and easy to use even in gloves. Overall when the businesses Rigid dies, we'll be buying another one of these instead.

Title: DeWalt make great tools.
Review: This is a great little shop vac. I've been using this for my renovation and I love it. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver and has great suction. The only thing I wish is that the main vac head was a little larger and had either some kind of felt or soft brush on it. The suction is so strong that its hard to swipe back and forth because of the seal around the edge of the head. Other than that, I have no issues with this machine.

Title: Best Vac I've ever had
Review: Buy the cheaper bags. Yes they are a tad fragile and not as good as OEM, but this vacuum is awesome. If you are vacuuming up large chips (say from a thickness planer) then the inlet will plug if you are not careful. All other dirt, etc just dine.

Review: My more than 20 year old Shop Vac finally was beyond repairs so I intended to get a new one but at the time I learned that the company will soon go out of business. (Later they decided to stay in business).Anyhow, I checked out other brands of wet/dry vacuums and came across this DeWalt DXV06P 6 gallons model. Most of the reviews for this model were very positive 5 stars. The price at the time of ordering was quite attractive so I placed my order with Amazon. After much use of this DeWalt model I'm not dissapointed. It has excellent suction. fells very sturdy and is not as noisy as my old Shop Vac. Accessories are readily available. I consider this DeWalt wet/dry vacuum an excellent purchase.
