If you are over the "same-old, same-old" quick bread and brunch fare, you are in for a wonderful surprise with this book, "The Best Quick Breads". It's chock-FULL of fabulous flavor combinations. From sweet to savory.....truly, there's something new for every taste in here. Beth Hensperger is an underrated baking maven.

Title: Great Book
Review: This book is informative and helpful. Its one of those books you pass around at a home gathering and all oogle over the great sounding recipes. This book was a Christmas Present and yet have to make anything from it. However the book is easily read and understood. This is for a man and we know what they are like in the kitchenI find this book to be a great buy !!

Title: Doesn't suit my needs
Review: First of all, there are not too many loaf recipes in this book. Secondly, she measures flour by scooping, which is not the way I measure flour. I'd rather stick to recipes that use the same measuring method I use--stir the flour in the canister to aerate it, lightly spoon the flour into the measuring cup, and level off the top. In my not-too-humble opinion, this is the correct method of measuring flour. At the very least, it ensures you will not use too much flour and end up with dry baked goods.
