Title: Fun and inspirational story. doesnt take itself too seriously.
Review: Cute story that is fun to read and sure to become a highly requested book. It makes its point gently and builds to a great ending. Encourages stamina and goal setting. I like that the heroine doesnt always get her way and has to endure challlenges, but what doesnt kill you makes you stronger. Sweet side stories within the story as well. Makes for great discussion.

Title: Beautiful illustrations & thoughtful story!
Review: The writer and illustrator clearly put effort into this book. Itâs such a fun read, itâs humorous, and contains a helpful lesson for little ones. If you have any little ones who are struggling with making mistakes and how to handle them, this is a great way to find humor in it and reframe it towards more positive outcomes.

Title: Children Laughed Out Loud
Review: Iâm an early childhood educator and happened to have just received this book when it seemed my entire class of 4-5 year olds day went south at the same time! We stopped what we were doing, had an impromptu circle time, many were crying, sad, and wanting their mothers. By the end of this book, crying became laughter, hysterical laughter, all 15 children had a chance to share an incident they had struggled with, and just like Millie, after lots of practice they accomplished what they set out to do! Each child made a picture of the goal they worked hard to achieve! The graphics and visual illustrations had my children just mesmerized. They want me to read âMillieâs Messy Successâ whenever we have a day where everything seems to go south! This is just a wonderful little book full of surprises and a great self esteem builder for all ages.

Title: Inspiring
Review: It was good and inspiring (Although I'm pretty sure Millie is a superhero with all the inhuman things she could do) but I disliked how her Mom seemed so proud and supportive and cheered her on in her first race... But didn't notice her daughter got stuck and even abandoned her and went home. Then when Millie gets herself unstuck and returns home, her Mom is like, "Where were you?" And I was just like ð¤¦ââï¸ really? She didn't even look for her or notice where she went. Aside from that, it was a cute book, I just don't think, in a children's book, it should be viewed as "ok" for a parent to be neglectful. I mean, even the Dad didn't go looking for his daughter. Plus, poor Millie accumulated so many injuries and no one ever took her to the dentist or doctor. ð I don't typically review negatively on kids books, because I enjoy people's creativity and usually chock things up to "cartoon logic" (like why do the kids have blue hair and both parents have brown? I'm just assuming they adopted alien kids at this point, lol.)
