Title: good old days
Review: We bought this dvd to have in the car to keep our 8, 7, and 2 yr old children entertained. When the dvd arrived (on time), we all sat down together and watched it. My husband and I (both in our mid-30's), felt like we were kids again and our children were excited to see what we watched when we were kids. The three episodes on this dvd are great fun to watch so if you're looking for a fun stroll down memory lane, this is a good pick.

Title: 3 great guest stars on a great show
Review: The Muppet Show of that era was beyond wonderful. It was fun for kids, cleverly humorous for adults, has a love of silliness but never compromising it's artistic level. And with Elton John, Julie Andrews and Gene Kelly as guests in their respective episodes, one gets great music too. 🙂

Review: Best of the Muppet Show - Elton John / Julie Andrews / Gene KellyCute. Gene kelly singing to Miss Piggy. I wouldn't have thought she was his type! Anything with Gene Kelly is worth watching if you ask me, but this isn't for everyone. I'd but it again though.

Title: This one was really good
Review: As a true fan of the Muppets I was thrilled to get this tape! Every guest was great, and Julie Andrews still rules! The best episode out on tape the only thing I didn't care for was the last number, a little cheesy, but other than that wonderful! I also found I truly loved Elton John's music from this. This is one I plan to watch over again.

Review: 娘のためと思い買ったのですが、親の方が楽しんで観てしまいます。エルトンジョンは特にいいですねー。何だってうまいなーこの人はと感心してしまいます。彼のCDを新たに買いたくなるほどです。マペットたちもかわいいし、アメリカンギャグも楽しめる１本だと思います。3本立てになっていて全部で80分位だったと思います。

Review: Elton John、Julie Andrews、Gene Kellyの登場回。ブライアン･ヘンソンによるちょっとした紹介とオープニングナンバーが各回の初めに入っていて、マペット達だけのシーンも完全収録。マペット映画宣伝のおまけ付。ジュリーの回は1978年のもの。☆ ｢ひとりぼっちの山羊飼い｣(サウンドオブミュージック)チロリアンなドレス姿のジュリーがアルプスとロッジのミニチュアセットでマペット達と歌う。☆ When You Were a Tadpole And I Was a Fishカーミットの手を取って歌ってあげる、ほのぼのキュートなジュリー自作の歌。☆ I Whistle A Happy Tuneモンスターなマペット達に追い回されながら｢王様と私｣のナンバーを歌う。最後にみんなでステップを踏みながら歌うところが｢オズの魔法使｣ぽくてかわいい。ジュリーお得意の口笛もきける。Gene Kellyは、カーミットのタップレッスンやミス･ピギーとのデュエット。マペットだけで演じるFit As A Fiddleも楽しい。ラストに｢映画でやったのが一番だから｣と最初は断った｢雨に唄えば｣を、S' WonderfulやFor Me And My Galなんかでじらした後にしっとりと歌って、再現されたセットを傘を持って歩いて去っていくジーンが渋すぎ。
