Title: One of My Favorites
Review: If you don't like dry humor, this movie is not for you. There is an appalling lack of action and CGI in this movie, but somehow I am extremely entertained every time I watch it. This is a comedy with fantastic cast and a well-written dialog. As mentioned, the humor is very dry and sharp, although some of it is "on the nose" (like the recurring jokes about one character's past sex life) and some is a bit goofy (one character has two literal left feet). Every character is quirky in their own way and is played to the tee by the actors. I really have no idea what goes on behind the scenes at real dog shows but can imagine that it is not too different from how this movie presents it.

Review: All the best tropes of this series are done to the utmost in this outing. I know this might be considered blasphemous, but "Best in Show" is the best of the Christopher Guest mockumentary movies. Yes, "Waiting for Guffman" is great, but "Best in Show" is the best.Who doesn't laugh at a line like "We have so much in common--we both love soup...We could talk or not talk for hours." I think we can all agree Jennifer Coolidge is an American treasure!If you like quirky, cerebral yet wacky comedy, "Best in Show" is for you!
