Title: Works with Surface Dock 2 for external monitor
Review: In case you are struggling to get your Surface Dock 2 to send video output to an external monitor, this cable works using the rear facing USB-C out to Display Port on your monitor. You may have tried a USB-C to HDMI adapter or cable - THIS DOES NOT WORK. Microsoft support will not know this. You may have watched a YouTube video and think you need a $60 cable - you do not. This cable works. Hope this helps someone.

Title: It was great while it worked
Review: Got this in 4/2023 to connect a laptop (usb-c) to monitor (dp). The monitor I'm using is a wide curved monitor and with hdmi connection, I wasn't able to display the laptop screen up to full resolution hence using usb-c to display port instead. Anyway, the cable worked well at first - display was good quality, no issues while using. I didn't use the laptop daily, maybe 1-2 times a month, so this cable was not put through heavy use but yesterday I tried to use the laptop but the cable stopped working (laptop screen would not show up on monitor). Tried replugging a few times on both ends without effect. Then switched over the an old hdmi cable I had and laptop screen was displayed on monitor right away (albeit at the smaller screen resolution). This is the 2nd usb-c to dp cable I've purchased from amazon that has failed after a few months. The first was from another company. I'm guessing that these unknown brands are just not going to last longer than a year or a few uses. Disappointing.
