Title: Great jars worked perfectly at a great price!
Review: I wanted to leave a honest, current review for these jars. First off I live in Western North Carolina and I’m a real person. I ordered these jars because they were a good price point and had decent reviews. I canned a run of pepper jelly following USDA recommendations for canning. I found the jars to be excellent! Water bathed for 10 minutes as recommended I had no issues with the jars breaking and all taps sealed correctly with a pleasing “ping”. The sound is not as loud as Ball or Kerr lids but definitely audible. When I can I like to put the flat tops on the jars first. I then follow by placing the rings over the flat tops and the grooves of the jar. It is a little bit difficult to get, the rings over the flat tops and onto the jar threads. It’s like the tolerances between the flat tops and the rings are very tight. This is a minor issue but I am 100% satisfied and these jars are a great value.

Title: Perfect size
Review: I use these jars to save my flower seeds in. I also use them to store my homemade dry tea in. They are super cute and not too expensive. I’m sure I will come up with a million more ways to use these. I’m trying to switch to glass more than plastic.

Title: Not standard size rings or lids.
Review: These are not the same as regular 1/4 pint jars. The rings from standard jars will not fit on them. Their rings and lids are slightly smaller. I found some that I could not get the lids out of the rings so I could use them for canning, but the ones I could I had no problem canning jelly in them. Would I buy again...no. I will use them up and give as gifts along with their rings. On one when I removed the ring to wash the jar, I couldn't get it off and it broke the seal because the ring was to small. Just wanted people to be aware of using for canning. Using for other things you should have no problems.

Title: Quality jars, labels and cute tags!
Review: Love these jars! Size is perfect for gift giving of my garden herbs. Labels, tags and twine are included to put the perfect finishing touches on each one. Would order again! Note that initially I could not find the brown paper tags. They were tucked inside one of the jars. I was lucky I randomly pulled out the one jar that had them tucked in it after two days of thinking they were missing.

Title: Good jars but not for canning
Review: Good jars but upon inspection I don’t think I’ll be able to use these for water bath canning as intended . The seals on the flats are much too thin to do any sealing. So thin you can’t even indent them with your fingernail. The price is great though and it still may even be worth it to swap out the flats for better ones if you still wanted to use them for canning. Also the rings do not fit other standard size canning jars. They are just a bit too small and the threads don’t line up….But, they are still great jars at a great price with many other uses-tea, dry goods, candles, salts, etcI still may test can one jar in my next batch of jam/jelly and see what happens. And also maybe one with a new flat. I’ll update my review if something works out

Title: Great quality and packaged right
Review: I needed to purchase many jars for a DIY Sugarscrub I was making for Teachers Appreciation Week. These were priced right and were packaged well so they weren’t broken upon arrival. I will buy them again for sure.
