Title: Great Fridge For Breast Milk
Review: We bought this fridge so that my wife could store her breast milk in the bedroom when she needed to pump in the middle of the night. I can say this fridge does a pretty good job of keeping the milk cool throughout the night. It holds around 6 standard breast pump containers. After the night is over she is able to transfer the milk over to the standard fridge or freezer for proper storage.Here is a list of some pros after using the fridge:-small size/form factor-fairly quiet operation-fairly low power consumption-portable-Cigarette lighter DC availability for in car use, which is nice for road trips.-can also act as a food warmerHere are some cons in our experience:Since this uses a complete different cooling system then a standard fridge your expectations need to be adjusted. It will never get as cool as a regular fridge. It would be more fair to consider this as a power assisted cooler. Additionally its cooling performance is affected by the room temperature.Overall I would definitely recommend this fridge as a convenient means to store breast milk throughout the night. Its been great value and its operation is simple enough. I hope to get more use out of it during our future road trips.

Title: Great Travel Companion!! Keeps Meds & Drinks cold!
Review: This little fridge is very well made and does a great job! We bought it primarily for traveling because we travel with a family member who requires regular insulin and other medications that require refrigeration. It is so convenient to plug this into either our older car's cigarette lighter or into a regular outlet in our newer vehicles. We also have room for 4-5 drinks with the medication, 6 cans if we put only drinks in. It kept everything cold and we didn't notice a lot of noise or issues. As we mentioned before, it is very well made, quality materials and good design. We liked it so much we ordered another for the same family member to keep in her living room so she can have drinks and snacks without having to get up....HA, talk about convenience!!

Title: Dead after 11 months - was fine before it died.
Review: Update: it worked fine for me, for 11 months, because I was doing the fancy air flow and insulation hacks that I describe below.But then it died - as it has for many other 1 star reviewers. Just stopped doing any cooling at all.So downgrading to one star *.=== Original review below ===Unlike our typical kitchen refrigerators that use compressors, motors, and coils, these little refrigerators use thermoelectric cooling, which uses a plate of a special material and the Peltier effect to make one side of the plate hot and the other side cold when electricity flows through it. Reverse the current flow, and the opposite sides of the plate get hot and cold.I am reliably seeing the coldest spot (along the back wall) inside this refrigerator at some 55F to 57F degrees below the ambient air temperature going into the fan (an inexpensive 80 mm industrial fan that's inside the back wall).From what I just measured now, with a room temperature of 75F, the coldest spot inside the refrigerator (along the back inside wall, after the unit been running a little while and cooled down) is about 20F, which is 55F below room temp. That 55F below room temp seems reasonable to me. I might be seeing the advertised 59F or more if I took the refrigerator apart and measured the bare plate. (This product is not designed for such end-user disassembly).But to get this result, 55F below ambient, I had to futz around with the air flow.A major limitation of this, and similar, inexpensive little Peltier effect refrigerators is that the hot exhaust air is right next to the where the fan is pulling in what should be cooler ambient air. The hotter the air being pulled into the fan, the hotter it will be inside this little refrigerator.I had to build a silly little box out of cardboard and a cylindrical oatmeal cereal container and some duck tape, to get these temps. My modified cardboard box directs the hot air out the sides and to the front, while the cylindrical oatmeal cereal container guides in the soon to be cool air from about 8 inches behind the unit into the fan.Bottom line - you can get close to 60F below room (ambient fan input air) temps on the inside back wall, but you'll have to manage air flow, separating the ambient intake from the hot exhaust to get the best results.

Title: Refrigeration by 110 house current or by 12v car battery.
Review: Really neat product. Has both 110 house current setting as well as a 12v (cigarette lighter) setting. Includes both adapters. Note: written material with the unit says it will cool to about 40 degrees less than surrounding ambient temperature. That means if your house is at 70 degrees, then this unit presumably would freeze things. This has not happened to me. On the kitchen counter it keeps things cold (cream does not spoil in a reasonable amount of time.) Say you use it in your car for a trip to cool cans of soda and you park the car in the sun and go do tourist-things. The temp in the care goes up to 100 degrees or more. There for the coolest temp for your drinks would be 60 degrees or more. A bit warm? I have not tried in the car yet to verify if my assumption is correct.

Review: This product is amazing first off the price is great and does everything you would expect it. I definitely recommend this product due to the price and what you're getting for it. This Holds up to 6 cans which is amazing for the price and can also keep food cold or warm which is amazing too. Another thing I found amazing about the product is that it can be used for a cigarette liter which is amazing for bringing drinks on the go in a car or other vehicle and can also keep your food hot or cold. Overall this product goes over the top and did more than expected definitely give this product a 10/10 and would recommend it for college students or if you just wanted a mini fridge for cheap.
