Title: Great cookbook
Review: I’ve made several recipes from this cookbook and they never disappoint. Some are very simple and some are more intermediate with their ingredients. I would definitely purchase this for a gift

Title: Easy, Delicious, Homemade Food
Review: The name of this cookbook speaks for itself: Super Simple. The book is my go-to when I do not have much time, but I still want to cook at home. This cookbook is perfect for you & worth every penny if you are:* new to cooking and looking for simple but yummy recepies* looking for a cookbook to use on a weakly basis* looking to feed a family but have a limited time* experinced cooks who are interested in classic recepies with a fun twist* in love with Half Baked Harvest blogI have been following Tieghan on Instagram for about a year and she shares many recepies on her blog. When I was considering buying this book, I had some debates if it was worth it, since her blog is already filled with wonderful recepies. After many days of debating, reading reviews, and going back and forth, I finally decided to get the book. What I truly love about this cookbook is that I can see myself making every single one of the dishes. There are many cookbooks you buy and you are only interested in maybe 10 recipes, the rest is just meh or way too complicated. However, it is not the case with the Half Baked Harvest cookbook. There is a very good balance of the recepies. Every section has a variety of yummy creations that you should try making. The book is so versatile it would work for any season. There was one thing that I have had some issues with is desserts. I am not sure if it is me, but every dessert that I made based on the cookbook, came out a bit off. When I was making a strawberry naked cake, my cake came out way too thick, and I had cream leftover, so I covered the entire cake with cream instead of leaving it open. The peach cobbler had way too much liquid. And banana bunt cake was a bit tough. I followed the recipe exactly and use proper measurements but it still does not come out exactly as on the picture. Don't get me wrong everything was still very delicious! My suggestion would be for more complicated recepies to have a section with what might go wrong and how to prevent it.In conclusion, Half Baked Harvest Super Simple is a book that was made with love and care. Beautiful illustration, heart-filling stories, and wide variety of recepies will submerge you in a wonderful world of Tieghan Gerard.

Title: Beautiful Book
Review: First I admit I haven't tried any of the recipes yet...I just got the book! However, I am so impressed that I had to write a review. This is probably the most beautiful cookbook I have received and, believe me, I have bought many over the years. The quality of the paper is very high and the photos make me want to take long walks in that beautiful place. I have read through the recipes and can't wait to try them!

Title: Incredible Pics, Save Some Dinner Prep
Review: What a gorgeous book! This is the 2nd release from Half Baked Harvest (AKA Tieghan Gerard) that I’ve purchased – the other being Half Baked Harvest Cookbook: Recipes from My Barn in the Mountains. What initially got me hooked on her website, social media, and now books, are the gorgeous photographs and incredible effort put forth into each and every recipe, layout, and design. It’s the total package that makes you drool every time you peruse the pages.I’ll admit to being plant-based (except for fish… yes, yes, it’s called pescatarian, but I didn’t want the uniformed to think I was bringing religion into this discussion lol… you either get it or you don’t, it’s called a ‘dad joke’), so there are a number of recipes that do I will never eat… sorry Quick Filipino Adobo… sorry Spiced Lamb Hummus… sorry Dry-Rubbed Grilled Steak.Buttttttt….. HELLO The Meanest, Greenest Pizza… HELLO Lemon Basil Pasta with Balsamic Brussels Sprouts…. and I certainly couldn’t forget about you Black Pepper Buffalo Cauliflower Bites and your delicious ranch side sauce - get in my belly! The contents and pages are broken down as follows:The Basics (15)Breakfast + Brunch (23)Appetizers + Sides (47)Salad + Soup (77)Pizza + Pasta (107)Vegetarian (135)Pork + Poultry (165)Beef + Lamb (199)Seafood + Fish (221)Dessert (241)I do appreciate the section dedicated to vegetarians. My only real complaint is that I wish there were more plant-based options or recipes that it was easy enough to make the meat optional and this is why I deducted one star. It just seems like part of the target audience is the plant based crowd, so it would be helpful to make it slightly more user friendly for them. What differentiates this book from her other one is that this is focused on making your life slightly easier by taking the time and difficulty out of cooking. The majority of the recipes are tailored to Instant Pots/Crock-Pot, overnight, meal-prepping, and overall ease of use. I’d consider this a great companion book to pair with the first release of slightly more complicated, time intensive recipes… hence the title, Super Simple. The guidance is straight-forward, obviously the pictures are beautiful, instructions make sense, and it’s all presented/laid out in an intelligent fashion, at least in my opinion.A few of my favorites aside from the ones mentioned above are the Autumn Harvest Salad (84), Butter-Roasted Tomato Soup with Honey’d Brie Grilled Cheese (103), and the Maple Glazed Cardamom Apple Fritters (40).Check out her blog, check out her Instagram, and sign up for the emails. Get hungry, get excited.

Title: Love this cookbook!
Review: Cooking and baking are two of my favorite hobbies. I hesitated on buying another cookbook but am so glad I decided to after reading many reviews. I have made the banana muffins, brownies, and turkey meatballs with pasta and they were all so easy to make and delicious! I will be making the orange chicken tomorrow. She uses ingredients that I wouldn't have thought to use in certain recipes like using ricotta cheese in the Turkey meatballs. Also uses honey instead of sugar in a lot of recipes which I think is healthier.

Review: Love the recipes and photography. Would make a beautiful house warming gift. Only thing is that all measurements are imperial as author is US based, just adds time (& sometimes confusion) to convert.
