Title: You need this cookbook!
Review: Best cookbook I’ve ever had! Every single recipe so far has been excellent & very well-received by family & friends! The recipes are not only delicious, they use regular pantry ingredients you already have, and if not, you will find them to be common enough & you will use in other recipes in this book. The instructions are simple & straightforward, even if you aren’t a regular in the kitchen or you are new to cooking, you can easily make any of these amazing recipes & be sure the results will be impressive! Also, I love love love that there are gorgeous pictures of every recipe. It’s been so fun to make fresh new versions of familiar dishes as well as try completely new-to-me dishes, feeling confident my family & friends will be 100% satisfied! I have shared this cookbook with others who have also purchased it and been impressed as well. You need this cookbook too!

Title: Amazing recipes. Have t found one I dislike yet
Review: I love to bake and cook. I find when I buy a cookbook, there’s really only about 4 recipes that I keep in my rotation. This cookbook has blown me away. I use to print her recipes off her website and I got to a point where I said to myself “I wonder if she has a book?” And she did! I know no longer have to laminate my printed recipes hahaI have booked about 9 dinners out of this book and my goodness I can’t choose a favourite. My family has been loving everything I made and my husband has said I never need to ask for permission again to buy a cool book lol. I plan on gifting this book to any new bride in the future as it really should be in everyone’s collections. I HIGHLY recommend !

Title: Great recipes, but few new ones
Review: I cook many recipes from Alyssa's blog, The Recipe Critic, so I was very excited to support her and get her new cookbook. While it is beautifully written and photographed, I'm awfully disappointed that only 25 of the 150 recipes are new. The remaining 125 recipes are from her blog, including a QR code to link back to the blog.

Title: Recipes you’ll actually make!
Review: The real highlight of this book is that it’s full of recipes you’ll actually make, more than once, but before we get to that, the second highlight of the book is definitely the stunning photography! There’s a photo with each recipe and the photos are particularly stunning.The book is divided up into 10 categories for recipes with the biggest one being dinners. Some are recipes from her website that went viral on social media like Creamy Tuscan Chicken and Swedish Meatballs. The new recipes for us are just as d Lucius sounding like a Garlic and Herb-Crusted Pork Tenderloin or Grilled Hawaiian Pineapple Glazed Shrimp.I love the new stuff, but it’s also really nice to finally have all of her top hits in a book format. There are even QR codes to take you to her website where there’s more information, troubleshooting, and even video. The Cherry Pie Bars are already calling my name again. If you’ve ever made them, you know why.Tried and True is definitely the right name for this cookbook.

Title: Normal delicious meals
Review: It has meals in it we would actually cook. Sweet and sour chicken was awesome, the strawberry pretzel dessert so good and looking forward to trying more. Ordered a second one for my niece.

Title: The title is perfect!
Review: I have not found any cookbooks that I have been that impressed with. 😒 However I stumbled upon this one, and I love it! There is a picture with every recipe and they're easy to follow and not terribly complicated. They use regular ingredients I usually have and and are easy to find at most grocery stores. She also doesn't try to sell any cooking gadget or brand. Which I feel is important, I just want to cook good food that looks like the picture without all the extra nonsense. 😊 I look forward to her next cookbook!

Review: Although this book is a hard cover linen feel book the recipes are pretty much all the same as what is on the authors website.Apparently there are 25 new recipes which are exclusive to the book however they are not recipes I would probably ever make.There are WAY TOO MANY photos of the author and family. I buy books for recipes, however on the upside each recipe features a beautiful finished product.The book also defeats purpose as each recipe has a qr code which will take you to recipe on the website. Seems a bit weird.Anyway this book is going back as more negatives for myself than positives.

The recipes are easy to make and well explained, and I love that every recipe has a photo. There are lots of QR codes in the book if you want to read additional tips. Review: I was first taken by the size and weight of this book.. I couldn't wait to open it. When I did, I found a treasure chest of recipes and pictures, such abundant and mouth-watering pictures. I have already tried many of Alyssa's recipes, successfully, and look forward to trying many more.
