Title: It reads like a regular book
Review: This is one of the few textbooks I've read without complaint. It reads like a regular book, gives practical teaching advice, and the suggestions are actually good. There's some great things in here including examples and non-examples of good management, motivational techniques, etc. This is one book I'll be holding onto.

Title: An Easy, Concise Read.
Review: One thing teachers like me prefer when looking to improve our practice is direct, concise, and immediately implementable information. I found that I do much of what is already discussed in the book regarding what an effective teacher does everyday. However, I did gain some additional insights that I found useful. It's an overall easy read with gentle humor sprinkled throughout. What I noticed, however, is that all the examples of effective and ineffective teaching used females as examples. Was this intentional? I don't know. I just noticed it. I'd give it a 4.5 if I could for that reason. But, I'll round up my review to a 5.
