Title: Easy, Simple Coffee Maker
Review: Coffee maker is great! Easy to use, easy to clean. Makes a consistent HOT cup of coffee every time. The travel mug is pretty much useless, though. I would buy this coffee maker again!!

Title: Work fast. Love it!
Review: This single cup coffee maker works well. Coffee only takes about a minute to brew. I found 3 scoops (scooper included) per cup of coffee is the best ratio. Easy to store, clean, and travel with. Holds a standard size to a medium sized cup.

Title: Easy to use. For loose ground coffee only.
Review: It is hard to find a one-cup coffee maker for loose grounds these days. This one fills that need. It has a sturdy basket for the coffee grounds and is quick at brewing, but still yields a full bodied coffee. I would certainly buy this again when next I have the need for one. Finally, it has a large basket for the grounds. Good for making hot chocolate or herbal tea. Now, the negatives. First, be forewarned, you need to let the pot cool for a couple of minutes before attempting to open the lid to remove the grounds! The instructions warn of this, but this pot will spit a couple of huge puffs of hot steam if you don't wait, pretty much in your face. Second, there is no "on/off" button. The button on the pot is actually a heat reset "on" button. The problem is that if you push the button, you can't turn it off, and the pot will start brewing as soon as it is plugged in. There was no warning regarding this. If you heed these warnings though, the pot will work as advertised. Also, this does not take coffee in K-cups.

Title: Makes good coffee, but beware!
Review: For years I've been the only one drinking coffee at home, so I always used a stainless steel funnel to make my coffee and save counter space. That's changed now with one of our family taking a cup to work and another staying at home. So the old manual method became a bit of a pain! Elite Gourmet fit the bill. There's no denying that this is a simple device but it's extremely versatile and easy to use. I don't like those Kurig machines because I personally like a strong cup. With this machine I can load it with plenty of coffee and choose to make only 8 oz. Perfect! Others like to make a full 14 oz. flask of mild coffee - no problem. The great thing too is that once you push the button you can walk away, rather than standing over and pouring into my old funnel. But beware!!! Don't forget to put the cup under! There is no emergency stop button. Please, it's not what you want to deal with in a morning if you are in a hurry. One more thing to note, is that the cup it comes with it has only a push-on lid. For those in a rush that's a potential mess waiting to happen. We use another screw on lid flask now but that doesn't fit under the machine so we have to fill another cup and transfer it to the flask. No big deal because I use the flask at home. The lid on the flask keeps the coffee warm on my desk. This is a good solution - small footprint, simple and practical. Reasonably price too. Love it.

Title: Fast, Reliable & Coffee Stays Hot!
Review: I absolutely love this one-cup coffee maker. I used to drink instant coffee and recently, I mistakenly purchased a huge tub of non-instant. I do prefer brewed coffee and figured I'd hunt for a one-cup coffee maker. I previously owned a Keurig and even purchased the reuseable mesh pods that you can fill with your own coffee. It just never worked out for me. I never got a decent cup of coffee from that machine so I got rid of it and went back to instant coffee.Elite Gourmet PROS- Small size; doesn't take up much counter space at all- Brews very quickly- The cup that comes with the machine keeps your coffee hot. It's nice looking and I love it that the machine brews a 14 oz. cup (as opposed to 12 oz.).- Easy to clean- Good priceI really don't have any CONS. If guess if anything, I'd say I wish the elements that come in contact with the water and the coffee were made of something other than plastic. I believe somewhere the product description states it is BPA-free. That is meaningless to me. IMO, there is no safe plastic where food is concerned. I minimize my use, but in this day and age it's impossible to avoid it completely.Anyway, if I had to give a grade, I'd say A- (because of the plastic). It's a great machine that gets the job done.

Title: Wattage is lower than stated-a good thing.
Review: The description on Amazon stated the wattage for this little coffee maker was 600 watts. The label on the bottom says 700 watts. My solar generator was only using 488 to 490 watts. So it is perfect for my needs. The 14 oz. carafe keeps the coffee hot for an hour or two at an ambient temperature of 70 - 80 F. It is a good thermal carafe ( to go cup ) and supplies two classic size cups of coffee. The manual says all removable parts are hand wash. Not dishwasher safe. It seems good enough quality for a small coffee maker. It automatically turns off after brewing. One downside, I thought it was defective because I just pressed the on button normally and it did not come on. You have to press in pretty firmly, then it clicks, lights up and turns on.I hope I can locate a similar size mug as the included carafe somewhere in case the one included is in use or in line to be washed. The gasket around the top of the carafe is flimsy and will leak if tipped. The manual says only use the included brew filter, never use paper. And of course, hand wash the filter. However, for my purposes of power outages and trips in my mini camper it works great.

Title: Small
Review: I have the elite gourmet single serve coffee maker. If you read the full description it says you can make up to 14 oz (comes with a 14 oz tumbler), and you can make grounds, pods, K-Cups. If you read further down it says you can make up to 12 oz and is not compatible with K-Cups. I'm just confused as to which one it is?? Design is small, takes up less space. Brews fine, a little on the slow side. The wide filter makes it easy to clean. All in all, it is a good little coffee brewer. The description just needs cleaned up a little bit! I typically use K-Cups and now I potentially have a whole box I can't use.
