Title: GREAT product for a GREAT price!
Review: I originally purchased the NeilMed Netipot for my husband. After I purchased it for him I noticed improvements in his overall everyday health immediately! He has never been able to sleep at night and has taken alergy pills everyday. There have been times that he is up until 4 a.m. and then has to be back up at 6 a.m. for work. When we received the Netipot and he started using it, he said he didn't feel any different. That night he feel asleep at 9 p.m. and slept the entire night. Everyday since he has fallen asleep before me (at least before 10 p.m.) and has slept the entire night! The nights that he forgets to use it, he either can't fall asleep or wakes up in the middle of the night no longer able to sleep. I have not seen him touch an allergy pill since using this product and he has no symptoms of allergies!Shortly after ordering this product for my husband I caught a cold. I woke up and could not breathe so I used the Netipot and felt congestion relief for the entire day! I ordered my own Netipot and plan on using it at least once a day! My friend who also uses the Netipot says she never gets sick anymore since she has begun using it! This product is AMAZING! I would recommend it to anyone! Allergies or no allergies, sick or not sick, this product seems to have a ton of beneficial qualities! I love the fact that it is all natural so you are not sticking chemicals into your body as well! There have been reviews that claim that it "burns" the nostrils, and neither my husband or myslef had this complaint. Usually these reviews also state that they do, or plan on, making their own solution. It is recommended that you don't try to make your own solution! NeilMed sales the solution packets by the boxes of hundreds. Why take chances damaging your nose or sinuses by making your own? The only thing I noticed, and it's not a complaint, is that when you are using the Netipot it feels like you are in a swimming pool and just had a bunch of water go up your nose! Feels weird but not hurtful or anything of concern!

Title: UPDATE - NOW 5 STARS. REALLY GREAT FOR ALLERGIES
Review: UPDATE:FABULOUS!Just took a while go get used to it (it is very strange if you have never poured water into your nose)CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT!IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES - GET IT! (ANY KIND OR BRAND - IT DOES WONDERS)DURING BAD ALLERGY TIMES (I USE IT BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP AND AGAIN WHEN I WAKE UP .... IT HAS PROVIDED SO MUCH RELIEF.(I LIKE THE PLASTIC OVER CERAMIC JUST BECAUSE I AM CLUMSY, IT GETS WET, YOU ARE IN THE BATHROOM WITH YOUR HEAD BENT OVER THE SINK ... TOO PRONE TO ACCIDENTS (FOR ME) IF NOT PLASTIC.P.S. I SAW ON MARTA STEWART SHOW A DOCTOR RECOMMENDING THE HERBAL REMEDY CALLED "STINGING NETTLE". IT REALLY SEEMS TO HELP A LOT WITH MY ALLERGIES (IN ADDITION TO ZYRTEC AND EYE DROPS ... I LIKE BAUSCH & LOMB "ALAWAY" ... so for best OTC eye drops for allergies I've found. The active ingredient is actually the same as the recently launched Zyrtec Eye Drops ... but you get twice as much for half the price of the Zyrtec).Allergies suck! But there is a lot to help out there. A netti pot is a must! There is nothing wrong with the product and I actually like the little packets of salt rather than guesstimating daily. I find using a full packet is way way to much salt for me.Anyway - the whole thing is quite a mess (just a wet mess, not gross or anything) as my severely deviated septum and larger than average (broken in college) nose create an unavoidable dripping down/sideways/even kinda up .... with a saline solution that make me want to completely wash my face after each use.Disappointed personally to not have received but benefit from the whole nasal irrigation (not the products fault) but it seems a good idea to try.FINALLY - I couldn't help but realize (as I waited for mine to arrive) that a single serving Hotel-Style coffee/tea pot with a spout similar to the one on the box cover would do the exact same job as well ... if not perhaps even better. The plastic is very thin and flimsy, but it is ok. It just seems a more durable and sold mini tea pot would be easier and less heavy .... AND PROBABLY A LOT LESS EXPENSIVE (that was not a gripe about the price of this product. It was fine and very competitive ... I've just seen little pots for like $2-3 at IKEA or Import Store.

Title: Pretty handy, not many cons
Review: This is my first neti pot, and it gets the job done pretty darn well. I only have a few problems with it.- Even with lid tightly closed, a bit of water still seems to leak out. Not a really big deal, I do this over a sink anyway.- With the pot being so short and fat, it's hard to time it out and get an equal amount of water through each nostril because about an ounce of water stays in the bottom out of the nozzles reach. I have to tip myself almost on my side to get that last bit of water out.- The booklet recommends using it a couple times a day. I find that I absolutely have to use it at least two to three times to see any results. Perhaps the sinus packets just aren't strong enough for me. Again, not the biggest deal in the world, I usually try to do it when I wake up, maybe fit another one in after lunch or dinner, then before I head up to bed for late night tv.That's about it. Otherwise, it's great. Easy to wash out, easy to use, the nozzle fits perfectly in my nostril. A good neti pot for a good price.

Review: Really nice and gentle to use much better than the squirt bottle. It is plastic so would be nice if they could make a bamboo one.

Review: This little blue ‘teapot’ is actually for sluicing out the nasal passages. It is a bit awkward to get a good ‘flow’ at first but persist and it works wonders. I don’t use mine very often but when I do it works a treat. Make sure water not too hot. Have a towel handy when first using it. Lovely colour. Very calming.
