Your Guide to Diving Around the World
Atlantic Ocean
With sections covering the East Coast of the U.S. (including the West Coast of Florida), the United Kingdom, and South Africa, you'll be ready to explore the wreck of the RMS Lusitania, dive with great whites in Gansbaai, and behold the northernmost coral reef system in the world in Bermuda.
The Mediterranean Sea
Read about the adventures the Mediterranean has to offer, from cave diving in Costa Brava or exploring what's left of the HMS Maori (the ship responsible for the sinking of Bismarck), to observing the fascinating interaction of fish species and predators among the colorful Gorgonian Sea Fans in the Ullastres.
The Red Sea
From the Gulf of Suez to Bab-el-Mandeb ("Gate of Tears"), the Red Sea is one of the deepest in the world at over 9,000 feet. Explore the Power Station of Jordan, find the many wrecks among the treacherous reef of Sha'b Abu Nuhâs off the coast of Egypt, and gaze over the drop-off at Dahrat Ghab in Sudan at the deeper reef life swimming by below.
Indian Ocean
The Indian Ocean has no shortage of exquisite dive destinations. Explore the caves of Girifushi Thila in the Maldives, swim with whale sharks and manta rays at Pemba Island, and marvel at the volcanic atoll of Christmas Island.
Pacific Ocean
By far the largest body of water in the world, the Pacific Ocean is home to some of the most extraordinary dive sites. Discover the legendary wreck diving in Chuuk, experience the wonderment of the Great Barrier Reef in Eastern Australia, and dive alongside marine iguanas at the Golden Triangle.
The Caribbean Sea
The Caribbean Sea may be small by comparison, but its attractions are vast. Visit St. Croix for wall, reef, and wreck diving in the same day, experience exhilarating drift dives in Cozumel, and enjoy the astounding visibility and breathtaking biodiversity of the Cayman Islands.

Title: Nice book.
Review: I love the book and the photos in it. I would have liked to see more information about the dive locations that it wrote about. They listed the SS Thistlegorm, one of the best (if not the best) and spoke very little about it. The Selma Express is another wreck in the Red Sea that they didnât speak about at all, but had a photo of it. I just think they could have done better.

Title: Great first step in selecting a dive site for beginner divers
Review: I was looking for a dive book that provided the first step in dive locations. This book was the 2003 edition, and seemed to be an improvement above what I could have found searching similar names on the "Internet" on my own. Since the book was organized into maps, descriptive notes, and photographs, the 300 pages, in large coffee table format, and with beautiful color pictures, it seemed to be just what I needed. Its drawback was that it did not talk about what gear was needed, how the dive would take place, nor did it talk about the dive PLAN, be it from the shore or from a boat, etc. So, the next step for the reader can be: "What kind of dive packages are available", and so on." (Hence, the book was not good for somebody who already had an idea of where to dive.) Yet, for me, as a beginner, this was a great survey of dive sites. Wrecks, fish, caves, lagoons, etc. From this book, my dive trip selection should be a little more accurate.

Customers say
Customers find the book very informative and awesome. They appreciate the beautiful, colorful images and descriptions of each dive site. Readers also say it's a great buy and good value for money.
