Title: Literally, the best pans on the market.
Review: I had read so many reviews before deciding to purchase, and I came to one conclusion from so many people writing bad reviews â you all donât know how to cook! I have cooked fish, seared a steak, cooked scrambled eggs with cheese, poached an egg, fried bacon, made a bourbon reduction sauce with molasses and the consistent result from all these â everything was cooked to perfection and literally slid right out of the pan.I wanted to try these particular pans because for so long Iâve used Lodge cast iron pans. Donât get me wrong my cast iron pans are amazing but the constant maintenance can be exhausting. The Hexclad pan is being promoted as a hybrid of stainless steel, the durability of cast iron, and completely non-stick. They didnât disappoint. Plus theyâre so much lighter than my cast iron skillets and cleanups are a breeze.Let me give anyone who reads this a few tips:#1 Follow the directions given in the package.#2 Please, put a buffer between what youâre cooking and the pan. I use beef tallow, lard, or ghee. And please whatever you do, stay away from seed oils. Not only are they extremely unhealthy for you but their high heat points canât cut it like natural fats.#3 Cook on low to medium heat. You wonât be disappointed and youâll be surprised at how well these pans heat up.#4 When using any stainless steel utensils, donât dig into the pan or use a fork with the tines down scraping the bottom, or doing the same thing with a knife, or â¦.. you get the point. See what I did there? Point? And lastly #5 â¦â¦ refer back to #2 and you wonât go wrong. Watching some of the videos where someone is cooking scrambled eggs without a buffer â what did you think was going to happen!? SMHHappy cooking!Update: I have used this pan for just about everything and I absolutely love it. It has literally became my favorite pan. Cooking is fun once again and the food tastes better. The ergonomics of the pan handle helps as it stays cool. But donât put your pan in the oven at 500° and then grab it by the handle because yourâre itching for a burn you donât want. This pan is a little heavier than what most of you are use to with your Teflon pans; thatâs because theyâre made from quality materials. I am disappointed theyâre made in China, but they are designed and planned here in the US.So the reason for writing this update is, and as I stated earlier, I really love this pan. So much so I purchased the complete set. Everyone has their own set of pans they love, and all Iâm doing is giving you my two cents worth. As of right now 11.21.2024, Hexclad has their Black Friday sale. Check them out as you wonât be disappointed.Happy cooking!

Title: Gordonâs got taste
Review: This thing is just flat out awesome. Itâs the MacBook Pro of music production computers. The Sony OLED of TVâs. The Porsche 911 of supercars. Itâs just flat out refined, attractive and all around premium. Weight seems easy to handle and control. Like itâs more balanced, I donât know how it stacks up in actual weight. I go by feel. (Go do curls if itâs too heavy). It heats up fast, oil glides on it and distributes effortlessly. It creates a phenomenal sear on a steak, and using a metal spoon to baste has not caused any visible marks or abrasions.I havenât had it long, but I do know to definitely season it. This thing needs to be taken care of, and I bet it will take care of you for a long time. I registered the warranty immediately before firing it up. Itâs just fantastic. Worth every penny. Thanks Gordon Ramsey for the recommendation. I canât imagine what his accreditation is though.

Title: Thrilled with all my Hex Clad cookware
Review: Iâd been happily cooking with my 25 year old stainless steel and copper bottom pots and pans when finally, piece by piece, they started to fall apart. To be fair, I put them in the dishwasher and wasnât easy on them. They got a LOT of use and 25 years is a good long time. When we moved out of state I knew Iâd need new cookware. I spent way too many hours researching and finally decided on Hex Clad. And I love these pieces. I have both the pots and the pans, purchasing my final piece - the 12â skillet - and I could not be happier. They cook evenly, require less heat from the stovetop, somehow manage to cook a wide variety of foods perfectly. They clean up super easy. I bought silicone and wood utensils to use with them but Iâve also stirred a pot of soup with a metal spoon and no damage was done to the surface coating. Iâve hand washed my Hex Clad and Iâve put them in the dishwasher when Iâm lazy. They come out of the dishwasher looking new. The lids are high quality too. They have a nice heft to them and I believe they are going to last a very long time.

Title: Excellent pan
Review: This is the best pan I have ever used hands down. Iâve used it a dozen times already and it is definitely non stick. Super easy clean up. It is pricy and a bit heavier than what Iâm used to but I can easily overlook the weight. Will wait for a sale to buy additional hexclad products. I am in love

Title: excellent choice for stovetop to stove cooking.
Review: my pans were dying and burning, cheap pans, so i opted to spend some money and getting this one since the reviews of Hexclad were mostly positive. i opted for this one since it was big so it could handle small and large cooking needs. i was expecting it to be completely nonstick like a ceramic pan, and was somewhat dissapointed that it wasnt, but that quickly went away. first thing i cooked was some eggs, and although they didnt stick to the pan horrible, they did stick a little, mind you i was expecting it to be non stick like a ceramic pan where literally nothing sticks. but then i cooked some porkchops, and on my old pans, the pork chops would stick, and chicken would stick, but not in this one, i noticed that the porkchops and chicken was not sticking, so its partially non-stick, which is a tradeoff considering that you can use metal utensils on it and scubbers to clean it, which is a big no no when dealing with ceramic pans.the greatest benefit of this pan is the lid, its big and raised, and makes for a great roaster since the lid is oven safe to 400 degrees, i roasted a whole chicken in it in the oven and the lid covered it perfectly fine and i roasted a ham on the bone in the oven and the lid covered that just fine too. this has made my specialty roaster pan and aluminum foil nearly obsolete.its also nice that i can throw a pot roast on it and sear it on the stovetop and then transfer it to the oven to broil, all in one pan. my son in law uses this pan exclusively to cook everything he cooks, from large meals to simple things such as 2 eggs and some bacon, even though we have smaller pans for that purpose.after having this for a month, i turned around and bought a set of other hexclad pans of smaller sized for other cooking needs.

Review: I wanted a larger non stick frying pan and decided on this one. It was pricey but is very good quality. Make sure to season as directed by the package insert. I did so and have used it many times now cooking eggs, chicken and pork. It heats pretty evenly for such a large pan and is easy to clean afterwards. The added dome lid is also very useful and is also of great quality. To be sure, it's expensive but after many uses I would say it is definitely worth the extra $.
