Title: Thoughtfully Engineered
Review: Been eyeing this mask for over a year now. Tried a handful of cheaper options before finally catching this one on sale. After using it I now have a greater appreciation for the full price amount as the design of this mask truly was thoughtfully engineered and manufactured from premium quality materials. With proper care I have no doubt it will last a long time.Why I Chose This Mask: I am a sensory-seeking sleeper: multiple overlapping white noise sounds, various sources of air flow, buckwheat hulls, posture pillows, etc. The addition of a weighted mask, to me, is absolutely ideal. That light pressure soothes the racing thoughts and immediately focused my mind on sleep. All combined with the absolute darkness provided by the mask, I easily find myself melting into my bed.The Straps: Other commenters have pointed out a frustration with the straps. They can feel a little clunky at first - but having two straps is a necessary design component to keep the mask in place with the added weight. It took me a couple of nights before I thought to try them razorbacked/cross-crossed and that works like a charm. I only wish the sides of the mask, where the straps are attached, had a small pocket that could hold the excess ends of the straps. But they can be tucked back under themselves so that’s not a dealbreaker.Final thoughts: Just like the straps, the key with this mask is to take the time to adjust it to a perfect fit on your face. The distance between and precise angle of the eye cups are easily repositioned and once you get them right on the contours around your eyes you will be melting into your bed, too.

Review: Update: Manta contacted me and politely listened to my feedback. They offered some suggestions and even offered a full refund because I didn't like this mask. But I love their other masks and will continue buying from them. They honor their promises.Original review: I don't know what they were thinking but the straps are the worst design I've ever seen on a sleep mask. I like the new eye cups but the straps are so uncomfortable. Did they even test them? Just awful and a real shame from a company that's had some really good products. There simply no way to get comfortable in this mask.

Title: Absolutely the best mask i’ve ever owned.
Review: Perfect weight, perfect design. Extremely comfortable and adjustable.I cannot explain how comfortable this is to wear, it feels like a hug. My sleep has been improved trifold since upgrading to this mask. I love the dark design as well. Really nice, Manta!If I had to critique it at all: (Take this lightly!)I’ve had previous models, and I will say that those have been easier to put on, but the weight of this one makes it just slightly harder to slip on easily.

Title: Left eye cushion broke at the seam within 3 weeks of use
Review: I've bought from manta before, and thought I'd give the weighted mask a try as I was in the market for a new sleep mask. The mask was very uncomfortable, but that's on me for not reading close enough about the beads used for the weighting. What I won't take blame for is the shoddy quality on the actual eye covers. My previous manta sleep mask eye covers/cushions are still great, albeit a little roughed up; these new cushions were an utter disappointment both in comfort and durability.

Title: I can't sleep without this.
Review: I have used a gravity Manta mask for about 5 years now. I can't sleep without it and it is the most amazing thing for people who sleep with their arm or a pillow over their eyes. Sleep quality improved. I actually can't wait to get this on my eyes at night it feels so relaxing.

Title: Heavy. Not for me.
Review: The mask seems to be very well constructed. The cups are quite comfortable. However, the mask itself is a little too heavy for my liking. And I’ve attempted to sleep in it a few times, to give it a fair shot. Giving it 4 stars bc I’m trying to be fair in this review. The mask itself seems fine; it just didn’t work for me. Will def try one of their non-weighted masks next.
