Product Description
This backpack is a side-sleeping trainer for BACK sleepers and STOMACH sleepers. Research shows that 80-85% of snorers only snore while sleeping on their back. This product helps maintain side-sleeping position and develop the side-sleeping habit within two months. The unobstructed airway will allow you to breathe smoothly and sleep peacefully.
It is big enough to keep you off your back at night, thus you will not end up sleeping on it or get your spine hurt in the way that wearing a small or hard supporter would.
Three-point fixation on the shoulders and the waist to avoid shifting and sliding around over time.
You can adjust the air capacity of the airbag to find the most suitable sleep position.
Two sizes are available. Measure your back width between your armpits but not including your arms. Large size is for people with a back width larger than 16 inches (40 cm).

Title: Lifesaver if you have sleep apnea and don't want to mess with CPAP
Review: I bought this about a year ago and have used it every night since. It had a slight odor from the foam, I washed it in the washing machine and that went away as soon as it dried (line dry...not dryer). So in a day I was good to go. If you inflate the air bladder full, you CANNOT sleep on your back, it basically keeps you ninety degrees to the bed. I found that too much. So I let around half the air out of the bladder, and with that setting I can roll from one side to the other, and I could sleep somewhat on my back, but if I do my head is elevated and I don't snore. However, 95% of the time I don't sleep any on my back. The point is, you can adjust the bladder to give any level of partial or none at all back sleeping. It took a day to get the bladder set right, and since then I've worn it every night, never needed to reset it. Likewise, it took a day to find the best use of the straps for me. I like the backpack style just over the shoulders, not X'd across the chest. I find it more comfy, though either works fine. So, by two days in I had it all adjusted and ever since then it takes about 15 seconds a night to put it on last thing before going to bed. You just fasten the Velcro belly strap and lie down. The Velcro, the fabric, the bladder, everything still working like new after, as I said, almost a year. Likewise a few seconds when I get up to set it where it lives. I find it doesn't interfere with sleep quality at all, or ease of going to asleep. It's well made and does the job.I say it's a lifesaver since I sleep with a recording pulse oximeter (Wellvue "Sleepu" available from Amazon, finger ring sensor and wrist strap for device, highly recommended) and it was showing me an ODI of 15 or so, and sometimes SpO2 as low as 61, which was scary. Since I started using the backpack a typical ODI is around 0.5 (no apnea) and typical minimum SpO2 is over 90%. [Doc says you worry when it's under 88% for 5 minutes...which it was, pre-backpack and never since.] I recently finally had a full-blown sleep study where he confirmed the backpack has solved my issue. Highly recommend it for sleep apnea. Note: For "obstructive" sleep apnea, where the problem is lying on your back and your tongue etc. interfering with your airway. There is also "central" sleep apnea in a minority of people where the issue is malfunctioning nerve control, as I understand it. I don't think it would solve that problem. Consult a doctor if you have any doubt what your issue is or if you have an issue. But this puppy works great to comfortably let you sleep on your side, or partially on your back.

Title: Could use some improvement that's why 4 out of 5 stars.
Review: Very comfortable to wear and stays secure and in place. Strong odor when I took it out of its packaging so I put it in the dryer on low heat with a dryer sheet for about 15 minutes. I also replaced the inflatable pillow with a rolled up bath towel. The inflatable pillow that comes with it makes the device too warm for me because it doesn't breathe, and it also makes noise when you move. The rolled up towel breathes and doesn't make noise.

Title: Not perfect but a good supplement to my oral OSA device
Review: After the Philips cpap recall, i decided to go an alternate route rather than try another cpap. I went to a dentist who specialized in oral OSA sleep devices. It helped a lot, but the Woody Knows also was suggested. I am 5' and 135lbs. Ok fit and certainly better than a tennis ball. Several months in, thr Velcro stopped working and the straps loosened as others have said. I'll have to attach new Velcro. In spite of this, it has been helpful in keeping me off my back. That said, it is overpriced given the velcro and strap issues.

Title: Highest recommendation for Woody Knows side sleeper back pack
Review: When I looked at all the offers for a product to prevent back sleeping this one stood out in two ways.It looked to be the best chance of success but also perhaps the most uncomfortable. As I was very serious in my need I tdecided to go with it anyway.Very happily surprised to find out it is very comfortable. No break in period. Comfortable from first night.Other than a bit of experimentation to find your most effective and comfortable way to wear when you first use it there is nothing to think about.Iâve found it to even work perfectly when only using the strap over my left shoulder. Of course you should follow directions and make sure you know what a correct fitting is before any variation. It seems pretty much impossible to get in your back. I adjust the airbag fit so that my head canât partiallylean to the back.

Title: Waist band wears out after a couple of months, and then the item is no longer useful
Review: I loved this item when I first received it. Well made of quality fabrics. Comfortable, and 100% effective. Kept me sleeping on my side. High quality construction. Improved my sleep apnea by 90%. But after several months, the waist belt closure item's adhesiveness gave out. The item was a backpack and the part that goes around the waist has a securing system similar to velcro. It has given out, no longer secures. So the whole thing is useless

Title: mixed bag
Review: I switched from a competing product and was pretty happy at first. Biggest issue is the 3" patch of Velcro is useless for securing the belt now. Air bladder needs refilling every few days but that is a lesser concern. Lastly, straps are not well contained but that I can deal with.

Title: Odd but works!
Review: Iâm very happy to report that this device works as advertised! Iâve always known that I have a tendency to sore while lying on my back. My new Apple Watch notified me that I was having breathing issues at night and should be checked out for sleep apnea. I decided to try this device before seeing a doctor or doing a sleep study. Itâs basically a lightweight backpack, that makes it nearly impossible to sleep on your back. Itâs a bit obtrusive but it has to be to be effective. I like the fact that I can inflate/deflate the air bladder in the back to travel in my suitcase. It will take some time getting used to it but I feel itâs absolutely worth it ð The picture I posted shows a redline the first day I tried it on. And ever since then, my breathing is back in the normal range.

Title: It works!
Review: I bought this in 2021. I sleep with a CPAP and noticed every time I woke up, I was on my back. I live alone & there is no one to measure my back. Iâm female, 5â5â & 170lbs & big busted. So I ordered the large. Mistake - sent back & ordered the small. This is light weight & I donât even know itâs on. Itâs impossible to roll over on your back. I do have one hint. At first the plastic bladder was cold & I woke up with backaches. So I put a hand towel (folded to fit) inside between my back & the bladder and it stopped. I highly recommend this to anyone with sleep apnea.

Review: I used a home made version of a side sleeping backpack for the past 4 years so I am used to sleeping on my side with a pillow on my back. But I like this side sleeping backpack. It fits well, stays in place and is comfortable. It has straps that can be oriented a variety of ways to best suit my preferred comfort. I also like the feature of having a zipper on the pack so you can either use the inflatable bag provided or use pillow material. Overall I am very satisfied with the product.

Rimligt pris. Rekommenderas!
Customers say
Customers like the sleep apnea backpack for its build quality and sturdiness. They mention it doesn't interfere with their sleep quality, greatly reduces snoring, and apneic episodes. However, some customers have reported issues with the Velcro straps, saying they loosen themselves as they move. They also dislike the value for money. Opinions are mixed on comfort, effectiveness, and size.
