Title: Does my tofu just like the restaurants!
Review: Never had one of these but went for it after a friend said it makes tofu crisp on the outside . Ordered it and couldn’t believe how good the tofu turned out. No messy oil and pans and paper towels. Then tried Brussels sprouts…delicious! Info is easy to understand and the size is perfect for me living alone. The price was very reasonable too.

Title: good starter air fryer for 1 or 2 people
Review: I like it - small profile, easy to clean and nice aqua color. It is only 1000 watts so cooks slower than a more expensive machine but hard to beat the price. I have to add a few minutes to the proposed cook time - not a big deal. I was not prepared for having to cook some things in batches. THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH ALL AIR FRYERS. Do not believe the sales pictures for any air fryer that shows cooking with a full basket! Almost every recipe says to cook food in a single layer so unless you are cooking something very tall most of the basket space is not used for food. Unless you plan to cook whole chickens, go for a wider and shallower basket that gives you more room for a single layer of food. This basket is 7 inches square which works pretty well for one or two people. If I find I really like air frying my food (have never really fried food; just saute some things) I eventually will get a larger machine that has more basket space and give this small one to my sister-in-law for her RV. This is fine for now.

Title: Simple and quick
Review: My oven was improperly wired at my apartment complex when I moved in. Management, who handles appliances, refuses to fix it while I am in residence (eg they'll fix it for the next person but I can suck it). This has required adaptation over the years to my cooking habits.The stove has two hobs that work, two that don't, and if you keep things to half the oven, it MIGHT cook if the stars are properly aligned. I got an Instant Pot one Prime Day, and it's been the best dang thing. But, as someone who doesn't cook with a lot of oil, and loves french fries, that has been the biggest thing I have missed, and often have spent way too much on fast food fries as a result (ew).So thus began the hunt. The hunt to find an air fryer that was small enough for my very limited counter space, without needing too much attention during the cooking process. I didn't want the one my mother has because it aggravates even her, requiring preheating and, unfortunately, a lot of adjusting times. It became such a source of frustration for her that I put off finding one for myself for quite a while.Alas, finding something that met all the requirements I had, plus fit my limited budget was a bit of a pain. My mother had purchased hers for under $50, and I felt surely I could do the same! But that happened to be the sale price of the one she had purchased. Yikes.And then one day my rice cooker decided to go kaput. So I was scrolling Amazon in annoyance at having to replace multiple appliances in less than half a year (I wound up having to replace three, in addition to my purchase of an air fryer. When it rains, it pours!)-- and I looked up the air fryers. So many different options, vast variety of sizes, styles, colors...and PRICES.Finding this air fryer I could only hope that it would work well enough and that the rating was on par with reality. The temperature is by dial, and the power is by a dial, as well, that you turn to the number of minutes you wish to cook your food for. It's very simple, fairly idiot-proof, and worked great right out of the box.I've had the timer glitch out once, getting stuck at the 5m mark, and kept cooking while not counting down. I caught it. Nothing caught fire. It was fine. It hasn't done it since. It's pretty simple to clean, but you want to be thorough and careful. Don't leave behind soap scum or whatnot, which is a little tricky. You CAN just wipe it clean with a paper towel a few minutes after use once the tray has cooled down.It's not loud to my knowledge, but I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. It's nowhere near as loud as the microwave. It cooks things very evenly, it hasn't given me any problems outside of the one glitch.The limitations you have are temperature control -- you don't know the exact temp you're setting as it's not digital, it's just a dial, so you can turn it, but, without digital temp tracking-- who knows.Overall, if you are looking for one decently small and easy to use for your chicken nuggets and fries? This foots the bill very simply. Not high-capacity, so best for a single person, or two people who don't eat large portion sizes.

Easy to travel with.If you are traveling with food needs like gluten free for celiac, this makes staying with friends, family or even a hotel SO much easier! You can even make toast in this while not worrying (or worrying your host) about cross contact. Save money when staying at hotels or RV- make fresh delicous meals without trying to find a restaurant that can accommodate. I've had my Dash Tasti-Crisp for 6 months now and we use it every single day! It even makes perfectly browned grilled cheese as well as Smores! You totally need one of these!

Title: Great fryer. Short-lived tray.
Review: We love this air fryer. It is the perfect size for two. It's foolproof, set it and forget it. It crisps up all sorts of foods nicely. It's easy to clean.Unfortunately, the tray that your food rests upon is coated in an extremely thin layer of a non-stick substance. After a month of almost daily use, there were obvious spots where the coating was flaking off. After 2 months, we clearly need a replacement. The replacement tray is half the cost of the entire fryer! We can't do that every 2 months.

Review: Good quality air fryer for the sale price. I have used it fairly regularly for 6 months now, most of the time just tossing in preseasoned frozen chicken breasts from Walmart, and then some mini potatoes. The trick is to use some cooking spray directly on the meat after, turns out perfect every damn time.Even heat, easy to use, and easy clean up. The small size makes it perfect for single people or couples. Wish I had bought a few more before the price increase as gifts and for myself (simultaneous air frying?).

Review: Es muy fácil de usar y de limpiar. La mayoría de los alimentos están listos en 20-30 minutos. Este modelo es pequeño así que quizás necesites hacerlo en porciones. El ventilador hace un poco de ruido pero nada que sea molesto. En general sí necesitas usar aceite pero mucho menos comparado con freírlo. Mi foto es de pechugas rellenas empanizadas y se puede ver la diferencia en lo dorado de la que barnicé con un poco de aceite, a la que casi no le puse nada. En ambos casos se cocina lo de adentro, pero el sabor del empanizado es muy diferente. Aunque el instructivo dice algunos tiempos y temperaturas para ciertos alimentos, para otros platillos es cuestión de estimarle y ver cómo se va cociendo.
