Product Description
QUALITY & BENEFITS: Made in the USA. This smell test kit includes eight essential oil nasal inhalers that helps to determine loss of smell and retrain lost sense of smell. Loss of smell can happen due to several reasons like viral infection or loss of memory.
HOW TO USE: Install the SensifyAware app on your Android or iOS device to begin testing. Use your kit with the SensifyAware app. Through the SensifyAware app and the ScentAware kit you can evaluate your sense of smell and re-train your lost sense of smell.
MATERIALS: Explore the essence of scent with our collection of 8 distinct aromas: rose, lemon, orange, peppermint, garlic, cinnamon, coffee, and banana. Each inhaler holds a single ingredient of pure essential oil, a familiar fragrance from our daily lives. They are labeled with a QR code. Using the SensifyAware app, scan the QR code and identify the smell.
ANXIETY & DEPRESSION: Loss of smell can lead to anxiety, changes in feeding habits and even depression. Sense of smell is deeply connected with memory and cognition. Research has shown loss of smell is an early sign of neurodegenerative diseases.
SENSIFYAWARE APP: The SensifyAware app also contains tests for cognitive functions to provide a full evaluation of your brain health. Periodically test using the ScentAware kit to track your sense of smell. Smell your way to better health with ScentAware.

Title: Self explanatory, easy to use
Review: I bought this product for my parent to see if she has any sign of Neuro degenerative issues as she is showing signs of absent minded sometimes. I downloaded the app and it was easy to get started. My mom took various audio visual tests along with the scent test and keeps track of the results. The only caveat is you should be willing to set aside 20 minutes to go through all the tests without distraction but the best part is it can be taken at anytime and anywhere. I highly recommend this product for anyone not just old people and in fact I am thinking of buying one for myself.

Title: Terrible
Review: This item is awful. It uses an app which sounds great but it only tells you how many you got correct and incorrect. It doesn't give you the actual correct answers so you have no idea which tube is which. The tubes have colored shapes on them so it looks like there would be an answer key somewhere for you to tell which smell is which. I emailed the company for this and have had no response. Very disappointed. Each tube has a QR code but it is extremely difficult to scan. I have parasomia not anasomia and needed these tubes to help me work on each smell and help my brain smell the correct smell again. For example....garlic to me smells like rotten trash so I wanted to use the 16 smells to help my memory and train my brain. This is NOT the product for that. It is not worth it at all!!

Title: Not as helpful as described
Review: I've had this 16-tube kit for three months. I had hoped for a better experience. Here are the issues I've experienced:1. There are 16 different tubes, but not 16 different fragrances. Two of them are duplicated. So, to advertise that there are 16 scents is a bit deceptive.2. The scents are not very accurate. I had a family member try the test. She has a very, very good sense of smell. Her result indicated she has mild anosmia and parosmia, which she most certainly does not have! I would say that these scents should not be used for smell training because some of them are not accurate at all.3. The tubes are difficult to scan, which makes taking the test more time consuming. Note that you should scan the bottom of the tube and not the sides.4. The tubes have different colored shapes on the bottom where you scan the QR code. I have to intentionally try to ignore them as I think that over time, you could get to know what the answers are before even sniffing them.In theory, this at-home smell testing/training kit is a good concept, but without accurate scents, it's useless.

Title: a very happy customer !
Review: I tried the ScentAware 16 test. I am impressed by the wide range of smells they provide for the price. I had experienced loss of smell due date to COVID and wanted to check if I regained my sense of smell over time. I found the test very helpful and easy to do. From my experience this test is best for self evaluation. Being a medical professional I can say this test is very close to clinical testing that can be done at home.

Title: Terrible. No app, just website, unusable
Review: Great idea with terrible execution. Followed instructions, took pic to download app which is not an app but a website btw, and then entered personal information, and then they asked me for my purchase which I made and not on website and then no way to test scent and track progress. This is just completely useless.

Title: Easy to use kit to measure your sense of smell
Review: Well designed kit with free phone app. Odor tubes easily open & close. App allows you to both try to identify the scents, and also how strongly you perceive them. Very useful to monitor recovery after Covid, and can also be used to measure decline in sense of smell that might indicate onset if dementia.

Title: Doesnât work, tubes donât scan in the app
Review: I am good with technology, use multiple apps and feel comfortable with QR codes. I almost got through the test but there are 2 tubes that wonât scan. Most tubes took multiple repositioning to get them to scan and I canât tell if they are scanning. Itâs so frustrating. You canât submit the test if you canât do all the tubes so this was a huge waste of time.

Title: Good for diagnosing, but not re-training smell
Review: I lost my sense of smell 7 yrs ago after a major sinus surgery. My ENT suggested trying smell retraining so I bought this kit to try. I was hoping the app tool would have more guided steps and tracking for retraining. The instructions in the app don't really help someone retrain, or track progress. Now I have to get something else.
Customers say
Customers find the aroma diffuser easy to use. They mention it's simple and fun. However, some customers have reported issues with the scanability, functionality, and scent accuracy. They say the tubes don't scan in the app and the instructions in the app don't really help retrain or track progress.
