Title: Check yours! They do expire!
Review: One of our detectors kept going off randomly so we took it down to check it. It had an expiration date for use well passed. We bought this bulk to easily replace our existing out of date ones. The brand is reliable, plenty loud alarm and easy to install or do replacement of same. We like the whole house connectivity with battery back up. Gives us peace of mind we are doing as much as we can to stay safe.

Title: Expensive, but great quality
Review: These are great combo detectors, easy to put up and very clean looking. The mounting base is wider so it covers and fits over a round box no matter the depth of the box and sheetrock. Way better design than the cheaper detectors that can be purchased on amazon. So yes they are expensive, but trust me when it comes to the installation you'll be glad you paid alittle more for it.

Title: Great smoke/CO2 detectors
Review: These actually fit the type of smoke/CO2 detectors that were installed when our house was built. I love that it is both a smoke detector and CO2 detector in one rather than having to have two separate detectors. When it came time to replace the originals from the house, we were unable to find them in any of the big box stores. We decided to look on Amazon, and I'm glad we did. We got replacements for all of our detectors at a reasonable price and would have paid much more had we found them at a box store individually sold and not in a set. When our basement is finished, I plan to have the contractor order these from Amazon so that they match the remainder of the house.

Title: Great Replacement For SC9120B
Review: Unlike other reviews on here that say this doesn't work as a replacement for the outdated SC9120B I can confirm it does. It isn't exactly plug and play, you need to swap the trim ring out as the footprint of the SMICO100-AC is a bit bigger, but the connector is the same. Took roughly 5 minutes to install and everything worked as it should. I also verified on First Alert's website that this IS the direct replacement for the SC9120B.

Review: Our older model of these were about 8 years old and didn’t have the replaceable battery so when they started beeping randomly here and there, we had no options but to change it up. It is nice how easy these are to replace for a hardwired option when the mounts are the same. This was the best place to buy them cost wise.
