Title: Great value and functioning when tested
Review: Like how these units have built-in battery so they don’t need to be replaced for 10 years. Just need to press the button to test them every few months which is not a bad deal than change the batteries once a yearHope it’ll last that long which we wouldn’t know until much later but it’s easy to install with a 3M tape (purchased separately) to stick on the ceiling instead of screws.

Review: These seem quite good and easy to install and click in. However, the way the description is phrased is a bit unclear: be aware that the battery is built-in and cannot be replaced. It says it will last 10 years so it won't be a problem, but I did not realize even after re-reading the description.

Review: I ordered this for the 10 year battery. Easy installation in garage. But doubt I would hear it in the bedroom in the middle of the night. Would get another for my ham shack.

Title: Safe...No Batteries...Quick Install!
Review: Bought multiple X-Sense detectors to replace the outdated models around the house. The replaced detectors were more than 20 years old and used transistor batteries and had an annoying battery low chirps that always seemed to go off in the night as we staggered around trying to find out which one it was! The X-Sensors do not require batteries which is a total win. They also have a test button if needed. There is a label to include the installation date for future reference. The profile is a bit slimmer than our old detectors but they were the same diameter so we didn't need to touch up the wall paint after removing the old mounting plates. Has all of our detectors up in no time at all. Very pleased with this product and feel much safer with this detector upgrade to our home!

Title: Finally, no more beeping!
Review: Replaced 3 alarms at my dad’s house as I was tired of hearing the constant chirp of at least one of the old ones from dying batteries. Dad couldn’t hear that frequency, so he was not bothered.These installed easy. Test is loud, so I think dad will hear it if house ever catches fire. So nice not to hear chirping and hopefully not for 10 years.
