Title: Excellent!
Review: Great smoker, great price. I wasn’t even sure I had a leak. The car ran great but had a rough idle. I hooked up this smoker and waited about 2 minutes. I had a crack in a vacuum hose! Worth the money on its first use

Title: works great, but beware the switch
Review: this inexpensive smoke machine works great for trouble shooting intake and exhaust leaks. However, the unit i received has the Smoke/Air switch installed backwards, so i spent a good while wondering why it wouldnt make smoke. Eventually i flipped the switch and it promptly started creating good thick smoke. I popped the switch out and turned it around so i wont continue to confuse myself in the future

Title: The pump works well
Review: This pump is likely one of the best in this price range, because it does produce smoke with:-good flow-good pressure-good densityBad pumps will produce smoke that lacks in one or more of these parameters. If you happen to buy a pump that lacks in density specifically, you won' even see it.This pump, as someone have already mentioned is mislabeled on the switch:The switch itself is correct ( I for smoke, and O for just air), but the letteringon the pump body states these things wrong, the air where is smoke, and the smoke where is the air only.The specs do not list the current consumed (search tags: current AMPS AMP A) . So, I have measured and here it is:At 12 VDC dual pump only (AIR Mode) - 0.6 AAt 12 VDC dual pump with heater (Smoke Mode) - 7 ASo, if you want to, for instance, charge it with BiteFighter Clean Burning oil and smoke your patio using your Lab power supply 12V 5A, then nope, it won't work, the pumps will make weird noise and there will barely be a flow of weak smoke. Obviously even worse with some socket hog. You are going to need a good power supply to make that happen.As for the automotive testing, it works great. The only thing I would want (and I am going to add to it myself) is a low pressure regulator and flow meter.It has one shortcoming. The way the burner is designed is there is no way to seal it for storage.Thus, not only you won't be able to store it sideways, but the entire room will be smelling like that mineral oil smoke until it dries out. It would be nice if it wasn't so. I am thinking to fix this by installing ball valves on every line that is left open.If the manufacturer fixes these issue some day, they should send me a free one for testing 🙂

Title: Worked VERY well
Review: Worked great for me. I used a small amount of baby oil and she was smoking in less than 30 seconds. Thick heavy smoke that helped me diagnose the vehicles issue quickly. After telling 5 people about it verbally I figured it would be good to write a review for those actually looking at it.Wire hangar worked out great, it packs away in a small box very easily, is lightweight, and IT WORKS. Nozzle and tube are quality, unit feels well built also. Glad I spent the coin for this, it will stay in the cabinet as a useful tool I will surely use again. I don't see the need for the higher model for basic search and destroy on a vehicle or any motor.

Review: Mit Penaten Pflegeöl befüllt. Funktioniert lautlos und erzeugt viel rauch.Ich habe den großen Gummitrichter in den Ansaugschlauch hinter dem Luftfilter gesteckt und die undichte stelle im Motor sofort gefunden.Hat sich ausgezahlt. Wollte schon alle Gummischläuche in meinem 23 Jahre alten Oldsmobile Alero ersetzen.Ich habe mir viel Geld und Arbeit erspart.
