Title: Great Fit
Review: I usually buy Asics 8 Wide because the arch placement in the shoe fits my foot, but the heel is always loose due to the width. I have a narrower heel and wider toes. With Asics it is a constant battle to keep the heel tight without strangling my instep with too tight laces. I purchased an 8 reg in this shoe and it fits great, good in the heel and just wide enough in the toe box. The arch support is adequate, but I still have to wear my arch orthotics, and they fit in the shoe if I wear thinner socks. I really like the shoelaces! They are made like grosgrain ribbon and they don't come undone with a regular single tie, unlike my Asics which I always have to double or triple knot. When I first put them on, it felt like I was walking on wood planks, but they loosened up and became very comfortable on the first walk. They are not super cushiony, but do provide a lot of support.

Title: Tough & comfortable
Review: Really nice, comfortable shoes & come in narrow size. The leather is easy to clean, and look very nice , while providing comfort for long hikes in the mountains- lighter than hiking boots, but great tread for all types of terrain.

Title: Supportive, just like I wanted.
Review: I broke my foot in the spring and I needed a shoe that was more supportive than mesh shoes. I had to have a black shoe about 20 years ago and I purchased this shoe, and I still wear them to pottery. I was hoping they were as good as those and they are. I gave them four stars because I thought they could use some additional cushioning in the bed of the shoe but I would purchase them again. Good product.

Title: All leather shoe! Nice. COMFY!
Review: I hate the cheap vinyl and nylon shoes. I bought this pair because they are leather. I will be using them for outdoor work. Since they're leather, I was able to spray them with waterproofing treatment. Wore them today and they are so comfortable. I typically buy expensive sneakers and work shoes in the $150 range and this pair of Saucony shoes is as comfortable as the high dollar brands. The insole feels high quality and the arch support is good. Very well cushioned. Walked about 3 hours in them and could've kept going. I am surprised and pleased at how well they fit and feel. I typically wear an 8 in sneakers but I bought these in a 7.5 wide (my true shoe size) and they fit perfectly! Plenty of width in the toe box. The leather is developing small creases, which is typical of good leather shoes and I'm betting they'll become even more comfortable as I "break them in".

Title: so far, so good
Review: A while back I ordered five pairs of shoes, i.e., four tennis shoes and one pair of sandals, all different brands. I received them all yesterday. I tried each of the tennis shoes on for just a minute or two but didn't give any of them a workout. This morning when I got up I thought okay which pair do I want to try first. I decided on these Sauconys (Is that pronounced sock-a-knee or sauce-a-knee???). So far I am very impressed. They have wonderful ankle support which none of my current tennis shoes has. They are nicely padded around the ankle and tongue and the insole is just spongy enough that you're not going to feel like you're walking barefoot on concrete. I definitely think these are going to be keepers. I might could have used a 10.5W, but they were $20 more. These 10W fit just fine, thank you. In fact, normally I wouldn't wear a Wide width, but today's tennis shoes (made in China and Vietnam) seem to run very, very narrow. These have plenty of room side-to-side for my toes and they are not loose in the ankle. I definitely recommend these to everybody. I know the price is a little more than what I normally pay, but my 61-year-old feet are really liking these tennis shoes. When you get my age, comfort comes first, especially for the parts of your body you walk on.I'm not sure why one review mentioned the laces were too short. The laces on mine are plenty long enough, but not too long.

Title: true to size
Review: Not very comfortable to break in. True to size and fit. Felt comfy when I put them on, but not for 3+ or even 9+ miles daily. Disappointed in that because I walk 9+ miles for my job daily and am required to have full black leather shoes.

Review: Very happy with my purchase. I've got flat feet with plantar issues and sore ankles all the time. The first use of these runners and my feet felt incredible, well supported and my heel didn't hurt! Thank you!

Review: So seriously, this is the second pair.Walking shoe, shorter runs.I walk, miles and miles.I probably put over 1200 kms on these/ no exaggeration. They were already getting heavy use when I fed them into my runs. Within about 2 mos, I noticed the inside liner around the heap started breaking down. That’s ALOT of wear. I have duck shaped feet and my heels didn’t slip when I walked. I’m also fanatic about tying and untying my shoes. I only used them for walks/ runs. I have kept my old pair as gardening shoes bc they still have alot of the less supportive life- in them. Because they are leather I could wear them in more weather- I live in the prairies and wore them to about -12 or so with wool socks.ProsLeather- long lasting, easy cleanSupportiveExcellent priceProtected me feet more than the lighter elastic tops and sided ones doLong wearingComfortableLaces for adjusting ( vs slip in or Velcro)CONSHere comes the Buckleys… definitely not the most attractive, especially the grey, but they work. One of the best shoes of purchased- and I’ve been wearing duty shoes for years.I will buy again, foot support is one of the most important things you can do.Oh- came quick, in a box, not tonnes of extra packages. I purchased 8.5, so true size- also leather is a bit more forgiving for wide spots at the toe base or one toe being longer, that sort of thing. Giving lots of details bc these are struggles with shoes in the past.

Customers say

Customers like the comfort, fit, and sturdiness of the shoes. They mention that they're the most comfortable walking shoes ever, true to size, and reliable. Some are satisfied with the look and value for money. However, some customers have mixed opinions on the arch support.
