Title: Very weak material
Review: The material definitely cannot withstand being tied to itself or holding items. Very flimsy. Good for a cheap Halloween costume but not a ren faire garb

Title: Good inexpensive choice for infrequent costume use
Review: I ordered this to use for our annual trips to renfest; since I'm not actively out there every weekend now like I was in my 20s, and not doing year-round medieval re-enactment or weekly LARPs, the fact that I don't have a leather belt that can use the knightly knot isn't such a big deal now. This will work for weekly wear for maybe a year, which is pretty good for a faux leather, and if you're only doing historical costume stuff a few times a year it'll probably last a decade before needing to be replaced. But that's quite a bit of mileage out of a belt and skirt-hikes set that's currently around $10, and certainly more affordable if you're just getting into frequent fantasy or medieval costuming than the $40-50 it would cost to purchase a basic black belt like this from a leather craftsman. The 72" length is suitable for most people up to around a 40" waist measurement, though 50+ inch waists are usually better served by an 8-foot belt to have the longer tail preferred in the medieval period. This works over a fairly basic bodice and skirt for pre-Renaissance English and French styles as well as Norse, while also being a good choice to belt the chemise under an Italian or English Renaissance overdress so that you can hang a belt pouch or three and even an eating dagger underneath (if your event allows for blades which aren't peacebonded).Overall, if you're starting out and on a budget, this is a great choice, and if you're an old hand who's having to replace gear, this kicks the can down the road a bit for the belt so you can spread out the replacement costs.

Title: Cheap material - arrived damaged
Review: The material of this belt is a very thin 'pleather'. Mine arrived firmly folded up in its packaging rather than rolled, which left permanent creases and folds all along the belt material that bubble up as the top pleather layer separates from the layer in the middle. It's causing the material to break apart even further. It looks horrible. The skirt hikes have the same issue - they were also folded in half to fit into the packaging. The pleather is permanently bent so they don't lay flat and also have crease damage.A cheap and flimsy material that won't look good or last long at all.

Title: Thin and creased
Review: They rolled it in a loop then had to squeeze it into a box too narrow for the loop so it got horribly creased. It is also VERY thing and cheap looking.

Title: The belt is...plastic?
Review: This isn't even close to being a "women's Renaissance cosplay". The belt is of the absolute cheapest materials (some kind of soft plastic) and is, simply put, junk.
Customers say
Customers find the costume quality good for a cheap Halloween costume. However, they mention the material is flimsy and not durable enough to withstand being tied or holding items.
