Title: Worth a try!
Review: I do recommend this product. I have tried most items sold on Amazon designed to stop snoring. Of all the products I've tried, this product is the only one that has worked from the first night. I have been using it for two weeks. It is painful at the beginning and does take at least one week for your jaw and teeth to adjust. It doesn't stop dry mouth as it has a hole in the front so you will breathe through your mouth and nose. But it does stop you from snoring which helps you sleep better. The fit was easy and the company has a good return policy. It is worth trying if everything else has failed to work for you.

Title: absolutely horrible, uncomfortable, will cut/rub raw insides of mouth. Find something else.
Review: Too wide for small/average mouth, whole object is straight up uncomfortable. Pay the money and get a device from your dental pro or sleep specialist/pulmonary specialist.

Title: Works with caveats.
Review: I won't comment on the tooth/jaw pain for this, because in my experience, that will happen with ALL and ANY of these types of devices. AND it's heavily dependent on the individual user, and a host of other variables.I also know that these devices are generally tricky to nail - you'll notice that almost none of them have 4+ stars, and I'm not sure how you'd engineer one to really work for more than like 70% of people. All I know is that:1) Yes, this does work to significantly control my snoring (as evidenced by various apps I use to track it).2) Yes, there is a week-long (or so) period where you need to get used to it.3) My jaw does NOT hurt when using this, but my teeth do a little bit when I wake up, but goes away after 5-10 minutes.BUT -1) It's big. I can't close my lips over it. Causes lots of drooling and dry mouth.2) It's fixed, so you can't open your mouth while it's in place.3) Bottom teeth slip out of these immediately if I'm sleeping on my back because the molding doesn't seem deep enough.3 stars for these 'Buts'.If I'm sleeping on my back, my bottom row of teeth (the ones forming the leverage point for this to work in the first place) slip out of this immediately. So I have to sleep on my side if I want my lower teeth to stay in this thing. I feel that a little more depth for the molding would help mitigate this.I've been using this for a couple months now, and it works, so that's good. However, there is a version of these things that I had previously that I'm probably going to go back to - it allowed my mouth to open (this one is fixed), I could actually close my lips (this one is too big for that, and causes drooling) and the 'push your lower jaw forward' mechanism was a type of bar or hinge (SmartGuard was the maker) that you had to snap into the upper and lower pieces (instead of a screw mechanism).I liked the SmartGuard one because my mouth could open, which prevented my teeth from slipping out if I was on my back. I could also actually talk with it in, if I had to. My entire mouth could close over it, preventing drooling and dry mouth. Also of note - these generally won't help if you have a 'central' apnea problem because that's in your brain. Mine is 'obstructive', so these types of devices will work and pulling the lower jaw forward seems to be the answer there. Also goes without saying that if your snoring is sinus-based, this won't help either.

Title: Before VitalSleep, I wasn't really sleeping...apparently
Review: I've been an athlete (Hockey, primarily) for nearly 35 years (I'm about to turn 40) so I know how to form a mouthguard. Perhaps that was some of what helped with the proper fit and comfort that I experienced so far with this product. But as for some other other reviews saying this was uncomfortable or cut into them, I did not experience that AT ALL. I'm 6'2" and 250lbs (approx), so my mouth is probably a little bigger?!I purchased this because I was going on a road trip vacation with my family and my wife and I have been sleeping in separate beds for the better part of two months. I'm 30-40lbs overweight and when I'm that much overweight, I snore. She is a VERY light sleeper, and ruminates about...stuff...so if I'm snoring and she can't sleep, it's bad news.I honestly didn't expect this product to work 100%. I thought maybe it'd help a little, and I'd be super uncomfortable in the mornings or my teeth would all move around, but... it was amazing! I left the adjustment at 0, as in I didn't adjust it out of the box other than to form fit it with the boiling water to my teeth, but just the small amount of movement that my lower jaw did with the adjustment at 0 was enough to 100% eliminate my snoring. Mind you, this was VACATION, so I'm having a few drinks each night (which typically exacerbates my snoring even more) but there was none. I don't mean I sort of snored somewhat less... there was ZERO SNORING. And while that's great for my wife and all...I don't actually hear myself snoring 99% of the time, so I was mostly doing it for her. The extreme surprise benefit was that I slept SO. MUCH. BETTER. with this apparatus than without. The secret though is to use mouth tape. I have hostage tape (hostagetape.com) which I had tried a handful of times in the month before our vacation to see if it would solve things on its own, and it didn't. But that mouth tape combined with this properly fitted mouth guard was just a godsend. Not only did my wife get good sleep, but I got MUCH better sleep, too. Again, this is with a few (2-4 drinks) each night on vacation sharing queen sized beds (we usually sleep in a King or in separate rooms).I track my sleep with my Apple Watch (Ultra) using the AutoSleep app, and I was consistently getting 2x the amount of deep sleep that I was without this device. One night I got 4:20 minutes of deep sleep. It went like this:Monday - Asleep 7:05, Deep Sleep: 2:46Tuesday - Asleep 8:48, Deep Sleep: 2:15Wednesday - Asleep: 8:54, Deep Sleep: 3:03Thursday - Asleep: 7:25, Deep Sleep: 1:14Friday - Asleep: 9:26, Deep Sleep: 4:20Saturday - Asleep 7:53, Deep Sleep: 2:01There is definitely some variance. I think it had to do more with the amount of caffeine I drank, but alcohol probably played a factor, too. I drank only beer on this vacation (for whatever reason), just FYI. And I didn't have too much caffeine, probably 1-2 coffees in the morning and 2-4 12oz sodas per day (before this vacation I'd easily consume 1-3 cups of coffee, coldbrew even, and then 4-5-6 sodas per day).So anyway...I'm about to start a fitness routine again after this vacation, and when I weigh under 230lbs (currently somewhere between 250-260) I don't typically snore. But I plan to wear this until I lose about 20lbs in the next 4-6 weeks. Additionally, I plan to wear this if I ever have a night out with my wife or with friends and have a few drinks so that I (hopefully) will continue to not snore and can sleep in the same bed as my spouse. Thanks VitalSleep for giving me my bed back! It's a nice Purple mattress, and I really don't like having to sleep on the floor on a cheap foam mattress in the other room... ð

Title: Sort of works?
Review: Molding was simple, however made my teeth hurt really bad at night and the next morning. Thought i would get used to it, but after 2 weeks, gave up. I couldnât sleep due to the discomfort. That said, when wearing it I didnât snore⦠perhaps because i didnt sleep well? The opening in the front makes you become a mouth breather, so my mouth dried out at night and that caused massive stink breath that made my wife miserable, and my mouth tasted like a dog pooped in in overnight. All that said, you wonât snore. Lol. Suffice it to say, everyone was happier when I went back to snoring.
Customers say
Customers like the snoring prevention of the mouth guard. They mention it helps them sleep better and wake up more refreshed. However, some customers have reported that the fit is terrible, the build quality is cheaply made, and the effectiveness is only half the story.
