Title: 8 years use in Colorado, still going strong
Review: I bought this back in 2016 and have been using it every winter since. I bought a 100ft heavy duty 14/3 winter weather rated extension cord at the same time. This thing has been a champ. Works great in dry snow and does pretty good in heavy snow. If the snow is really heavy/wet, i usually will pivot it back on the wheels to get some of the snow, then return for a second pass to do the remainder. After 8 years of using it every winter in Colorado, I finally had to buy a new scraper. The scraper is a plastic wear part on the bottom that is essentially a shovel edge and the edge wears down over time. This part is designed to be replaced when worn and its finally worn to the point I had to replace it. The part was 11$ so I bought 2 of them. For reference I have a 30ft 2 car wide diveway and about 30 ft of sidewalk that gets cleared.

Title: Terrific Machine !!
Review: I’ve used it on 3 snow events now, here are my thoughts. I Love It.Two of our snow events were 6” to 8” of dry snow. I cleared the snow when the depth reached 3”-4”. The machine throws this amount of snow about 10 feet high and 15-20 distance. Very Impressive. It cleans right down to the concrete surface. It’s so light and easy to push as it gobbles up the snow. I love the headlights for nighttime use.I keep bumping the crank for the discharge shoot direction. I’m hoping to find a way to tighten the tension on the crank. Note that for snow depth below 1” the discharge distance is only about 1-2 feet but still clears nicely. My 4 amp hour battery lasted about an hour, I’ve got a backup 2 amp hour if needed. The unit is very quiet with a smooth purr/hum.Our first snowfall was about 3” of wet snow, great for making a snowman but not so good for this blower - the discharge shoot plugged immediately and I gave up trying to make it work. I’m still rating at 5 stars since my gasoline blower is nearly as bad.Needless to say, I love not having to mess around with gasoline cans and pull starting my gasoline machine hoping that it will start!I’ve got the lawn mower, string trimmer, edger and leaf blower- all 80 V. I love them all.Update: We had 12” of snow over 2 days. It was medium weight snow and the blower handled it perfectly. I cleared 8” during the storm and then another 4” when it finally stopped snowing. The 4 amp hr battery lasted about 45 min and the 2 amp hr about half as long. I could have used a 3rd battery but waiting to charge provided a timely break. The 4 amp hr battery took about 70 minutes to charge and the 2 amp hr about 35 minutes. I really love the machine and I’m happy I bought it. I also bought the Power Shovel and it works great with heavy snow and on my deck. See separate review for the shovel.

Title: So far HORRIBLE experience
Review: I receive this a day early, which was great. And it was super easy and quick to put together. However that is where the positives end. After I put it together, brought it outside, plugged it in and Nothing. So I unplugged the snow blower, plugged in a circular saw and that fired up no problem. Then I re-plugged in the snow blower, making sure the connection was nice an tight, held down the safety button and pulled back on the bar. Nothing. Waited 30 seconds, nothing. I also noticed that where the button should be to turn the lights on and off was a "plugged hole", so there would be no way to turn the lights on even if it did start. So according to the box, this item is not supposed to be returned, you are supposed to call a the number to Greenworks, which I did. But of course they are closed on the weekends. So then I sent an email to the company detailing the issues. As of this review, no response. So I called the number again during the week when they were open, talked to a representative there which did not listen to 1 thing I said, as I had to repeat myself 2 or three times, including my name when she first asked for it. After a 15 minute phone call she said "since it is under 30 days, you can just return it where you purchased it from." I aske her why the box and the manual says specifically Do Not Return and to call this number. She said she was not aware as she "did not print the box." Anyway, so I logged into Amazon, went through the return process, but no label showed up. Then I had to hunt for a number to call, which there is not one, you have to put in your number and have them call you. Once I talked with someone at Amazon, he was no help. He had no idea how to print out a return label. I finally figured it out and hung up with him. Now in reading the return instructions, UPS will only pick up at the same address they delivered to and an Adult has to be there in order for them to take it. Um... I work. And I have no idea what time UPS would even be to my house so now what. In my opinion both Greenworks and Amazon are too hard to deal with. It simply is not worth it!

Review: I am not very handy AT ALL and I managed to assemble, without reading instructions, in about 10 minutes. So easy to get up and running. Today I had about 3 inches of snow and my battery was 2/3 charged when I started. I completed 4 small driveways and a walkway and this included the crusty stuff at end of driveways left by snow ploughs. Handled everything like a champ. I still had battery left over. It's light, powerful and so easy to use. I absolutely loved having no cord like my last electric snow blower and I can't handle the maintenance of a gas snow blower so this is a great fit. Highly recommend.

Title:
Review: the 80v is strong enough to do my drive way and sidewalk and throws the snow decently far enough.but the design is not as good as some other models i've had. there's no front wheels, so it's very heavy when you push it. The throw chute has to be manually turned.can't complain but also not comfortable enough to recommend.

Review: A year ago I purchased a Greenworks 80V cordless mower after trying out other mowers that proved unsatisfactory. The Greenworks mower works great and the batteries charge very quickly (20 mins). With two 80V batteries I am able to mow both front & back yards on my corner lot as well as a substantial boulevard and still have enough charge left to run around my house with a trimmer. With that in mind I was interested in purchasing the Greenworks 80V snowblower as I could use the batteries I already own. I currently own a small corded electric snowblower that works fine but the cord is a pain to manage while clearing the snow and many times after light snowfalls I opted to leave it the garage and use a shovel rather than having to fuss with the cord. Today I used my cordless Greenworks 80V snowblower for the first time after we received 6 inches of snow overnight. I'm happy to say it performed beautifully. I was able to clear my driveway and a 75 ft. city sidewalk in 20 minutes as opposed to an hour or more by shovel. It threw the snow 15 ft consistently without losing power and I got it all done on 1-1/2 battery charge. So far I am very happy with the product.

Customers say

Customers like the functionality, ease of assembly, and lightweight design of the snow blower. They mention it performs well, is easy to put together, and has no hassles with gasoline. Some are satisfied with the value for money. However, some dislike that it's difficult to push. Opinions differ on snow handling, durability, and power.
