Review: Update: 3 months of having this ball and the colors have faded. Still great quality, no issue beyond color faded. I took a photo so you can see how the black is disappearing.Original: My son started playing soccer a year ago. Heâs had a handful of soccer balls in that time due to size requirements with his team. This came deflated; not surprising since itâs easier to ship. Quickly inflated. Appears of quality. Seems thick and has a texture to it. Iâll update if something changes. Would buy again.

Title: Frustrating product variation
Review: We ordered this a month ago in rainbow size 4 and received a very nice soccer ball with the textured surface shown in the official Amazon photo. 5/5. Sadly our daughter promptly lost it so we tried to order the exact same ball again⦠but received a rainbow size 4 ball made with different material and a very different feel. It was shiny, smooth and plasticky (see photo and compare to the official product photo to see the obvious differences), and my daughter complained that it played heavier. We returned it for a replacement, hoping it might be an isolated batch issue, but obtained the same result. We also tried ordering a pair â the green and orange balls â but found they also had the smooth plasticky cover, and not the textured one. A shame because we really liked the first version (which felt well constructed and high quality).
