Title: Portable and perfect!
Review: My use case for this solar panel is camping. I bring a ton of gear and it's great to have something small form factor that charges my fans and lanterns. It's something you can slip into the trunk of your car and not have to worry about sacrificing space for your essential gear. I do have 200 watt Bluetti panels that would get the job done far more efficiently, but they're like suitcases. Make no mistake, the benefit with this solar panel is portability. If you're wanting something to fill up your 1200 watt power station, you're looking in the wrong place. On the other hand, if you're looking to charge up a small power bank or a mobile device or two, look no further!

Title: Terrible 40% power
Review: I recently ordered a jackery 100 plus for camping trips just for my phone and iPad. After receiving the 100 plus I was disappointed it didnât come with the usbc adapter for solar so I ordered this to charge the 100 plus via solar. When I got it was super excited since I literally love the 100 plus. However was very upset when I set out the 40 watt solar panel in perfect conditions I was only able to get 16 watts!!! Thatâs terrible I was so disappointed I went to grab a competitorâs solar panel also folding rated at 100 watts in the same sunlight hooked it up to different solar generator and bang 90 watts. I was actually so disappointed I ordered an adapter for this on Amazon to run whatever panel I wanted I hooked the same 100 watt solar panel with that adapter and it was inputting over 60 watts and it wasnât even that sunny out. Long story short I really wish the jackery panel worked as advertised since that would be more than enough input to charge this in at least 3 hours which isnât bad considering I would only use this for my iPad and phone during camping. I have way bigger power stations for everything else. But I guess I will have to bring a 100 watt folding panel just for this little 100 watt power station kind of over kill but works way better canât justify spending 100$ on something that only gives me 16 watts max in direct sunlight.

Title: Works great in full sun
Review: On a cloudy day I had it out an hour and got only a 1% charge added to the Jackery Explorer 100 plus. In full sun for 5 minutes it performed pretty well, I was getting about 16W in full sun. It works very well charging the Jackery power bank and it also will charge my iPhone and laptop, so long as the clouds stay away. I like that it is small and doesnât take up much space, but it does not charge very fast, probably would take half a day of full sun to charge the power bank.

Title: No USBC Power output.
Review: Love Jackery. I have many of their products. Over a dozen. Tried to make this panel work. IT WOULD NOT. I could not get any power out of the usbc connection in full sunlight.I tried to charge three different Jackery solar generators. Including the small Jackery 100. Nothing would not workI tried other panels and they did work. Jackery also need to have PD charging output from usbc connections on their panels asOther manufacturers do. Return the 40 watt panel Ps. I get 10 watts out of usbc from Jackery solar 60 and 100 watt panels.Other manufacturers I CAN GET 65 WATTS PD POWER. ( like Dalypower panels ). I have 10 portable solar panels so this is an experienced review.

Title: Jackery's future not so bright. Potential star product falls flat on its incompatible face.
Review: Excitement turned into utter disappointment with this Jackery SolarSaga 40. I had read what was included in this package. I knew it came with the 8020 male plug charger.I thought "Hey, no problem! There should be an adapter for a female 8020 to male DC 7909, right?"WRONG!Jackery, how is there NO ADAPTER FOR THIS? I see adapters for female 7909 to male 8020, but they are not correct.I have the Jackery 290 which uses the 7909 input. I checked out what one of the other reviewers bought, but the one vendor was out of stock of the adapter.Jackery also shows unavailable for their own official adapter on their website. Not even a knockoff is available.I see why Jackery is considered falling behind-the-times in the solar market. There was no need to change the plug design.I was able to test out the USB-C and USB-A ports, and they are working fine, charging smartphones. But I cannot test out its maximum potential due to not having a simple adapter, but Jackery doesn't seem to mind failing itself. The DC8020-to-USBC adapter does NOT work with an Ecoflow River 2 - no power at all. This panel is only good for one specific Jackery power station. To all potential buyers, skip this. It's too bad. This would have been an awesome portable solar option.
