Title: Intuitive to operate, and great volume.
Review: I just received this sound machine. I spent about 6 hours looking at and comparing sound machines before I settled on this particular model. It has a good number of sounds for the money I spent. It also had a $4.00 off coupon at the time I purchased it. But there were no agreements about positive reviews in exchange for the coupon. I'm not getting any type of remuneration for this review or the purchase of the product. I have no connections whatsoever with the manufacturer or the seller of this product, or any employee of either. The only connection I have is my purchase of the product with my own money, and with a clearly marked $4.00 coupon on the item page. I will not receive a refund for a review either.I haven't used it for sleeping yet, so I'll have to come back and update in a month or so after I've used it for awhile but honestly when I listen to it, it's loud enough to drown out the garbage truck, and the thump thump of bass music playing in cars going by, as well as other household noises.This machine is made of a lightweight plastic but does not feel delicate or flimsy. The one I bought is white with dark grey markings on the buttons. It has an orange light in the bottom of the unit which I don't need, but if you need a nightlight it is a nice feature. I turned it off right away.Using a regular old fashioned wooden ruler the top and bottom measure right about 4 inches, and it stands almost 2 inches tall. It has 4 little rubberized type pads about 1/3 inch wide on the bottom. They should be able to prevent most slipping and sliding but if you need a firmer non slip some velcro ought to work or one of those non skid things made to put under carpet corners. There any number of ways to prevent slipping. Like I said it's rubbery enough that it should prevent most slippage.The only drawback I can see is it takes one of those round plug ins. So you can't use just any USB power cord. This has a USB cord but has that pin type end that plugs into the side of the machine.It's not a deal breaker, but you can't just pull out one of those USB cords, to replace it, that I'm sure everyone has in their junk drawer. LOL. A power brick is included which is very nice because you won't have to juggle charging your phone, tablet , laptop and etcetera with using the sound machine all night. Cudos for an included power brick!So I got this little machine for $15.00 and change plus tax.I just opened the box, and removed the power brick and the power cord and plugged all of it up and in. The power button is clearly visible, and easy to press. The buttons are a good size and far enough apart that someone with big hands and fingers can press each button without pressing other buttons at the same time. Cudos to the person who designed this machine for the well thought out placement of the buttons. The buttons do NOT light up, so if you need buttons that light up go with a different machine. I don't require light up buttons so they're fine for me.Honestly even kids could operate this sound machine without instructions. I figured it out in a couple of minutes, without looking at the instructions, but I had them nearby just in case.The buttons are arranged in a semicircle around the top of the machine just above the speaker which is in the center of the top. It's a nice sized speaker. Each button is clearly marked with the operation it is for. I ran through all the sounds for which there are forward and backwards buttons, so you can go through the sounds from either direction. I need reading glasses and I could see these marking fine without reading glasses. Each button is a little over 3/4 an inch, and the speaker grill is approximately 2 inches wide and circular in shape, and it sits directly in the center on the top. There are 5 indicator lights that reflect the timer if you choose to use that function and they are a very bright white color when in use.The timer function can be set easily by turning the machine on a pressing the button with a clock face, and can be set for 1,2,3 or 4 hours, or infinite play with no time limit.The volume up and down buttons are clearly marked, and to go either up and down in volume doesn't take a lot of clicks. There is a comfortable increase of sound for each click. Cudos for that also. I've bought items before that take many many clicks to get to a good volume. This little machine gets LOUD.The machine is made of a lightweight plastic but does not feel delicate or flimsy. The one I bought is white with dark grey markings on the buttons. Title: Pleasant sounds
Review: I'm happy with this product and company. I got the first one delivered to me, but it was damaged. I started the return and sent it back. I received the replacement quickly and it works very nicely. I love the simplicity of the product and the soft glow of the light, which is adjustable. I enjoy a sound selection that sounds like rain and thunder. It has helped me fall asleep and I am happy with this product. Good price point too.

Review: I love this thing! Perfect size, great volume and the light is very handy. It has a wide variety of sounds that truly do help for a good night's sleep! I hope it lasts but I love it and highly recommend purchasing this if your struggling to sleep at night. My favorites are the rain sounds and the fireplace.

Title: Helps my daughter sleep
Review: I got this because my daughter started to like listening to sounds when she went to sleep but we didn’t want her having computers or phones in her room at night, (trying to manage electronics in the home), so I’m happy that I found this noise machine. She particularly likes rain sounds but there are so many to choose from. Some of the options I had never heard of- like pink noise and blue noise, etc. (They kind of all just sound like general static to me- just in different intensities). The light option is nice and there are different brightnesses you can select. I also like how the speaker is on top of the machine and not on the bottom, for a clearer, more full sound. As another reviewer pointed out, the buttons are raised so if you need to adjust the settings at night when the lights are off you can kind of feel the button options and make your selection still.So far so good- she loves the machine and I love that it makes her happy. She even listened to it during the day- like the fire crackling, for a fun, cozy comforting sounds while she did activities.

Review: Great value. It’s nothing super high tech, but it gets the job done for $15. The night light turns off which I was happy about. The on button light on top is pretty bright, though. I was pleasantly surprised with all of the sound options and found one I really like! Definitely worth it, I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Title: Second one I've bought, just as good as the first
Review: This is the second of this particular white noise machine that I've ordered for a friend of mine. Same as the last one, it worked well right out of the box. All the various functions/controls work without issue, the buttons cycle through each sound option seamlessly, the volume of the speaker is loud and clear, and the light is good as well. I forgot to record that part in my video, but the brightness of it is easy to adjust. The speaker is extremely lightweight and fits in the palm of your hand, so you can place it anywhere and it won't be intrusive at all. The adaptor plugs in easily and powers the speaker easy peasy. No problems, happy with this purchase also.

Review: Meine Nachbarn hören leider fast rund um die Uhr TV und Radio, und die Wände übertragen das als nervig wabernden Klangteppich... Mich stört sowas sehr, gerade abends und nachts. Das erworbene Gerät lenkt mich mit seinen Eigenklängen von diesen Nachbargeräuschen gut ab, ohne das man es sselbst dabei sonderlich laut stellen müsste. Man fokussiert such automatisch auf das nähere Geräusch. Man kann dabei auch gut einschlafen. Mein Favorit bei den Klängen ist der prasselnde Regen. Es gibt auch verschiedene Melodien, Klappern, Wassergeräusche, Gebläsetone usw. Ich finde das Gerät super, erspart mir inzwischen manche Nacht mit Ohrstöpseln. Das Nachtlicht ist auch gut. Da ich das Gerät direkt am Bett habe, stört mich auch nicht, dass es nur kabelgebunden läuft. Ich habe manche Geräte mit Akku, die dann doch gerade wieder mal leer sind, wenn man sie braucht.
