Title: Very lightweight, rechargeable battery included
Review: This came promptly. It operates slightly different from a cassette recorder, but is easy to operate. The battery charge lasts a day to day and half on “play” mode. Great value!

Title: There is NO INDICATOR when the recording is taking place.
Review: I found it very easy to use, but when you pause it, you must remember to either restart or unpause it since there is NO INDICATOR LIGHT to let you know when recording is taking place.

Title: Wow, out of the box I loved it.
Review: This may be way premature, but out of the box I loved it. It was smaller than I expected but the heft was reassuring and felt like quality of design. I just bought a ZOOM and was a bit disappointed so I bought this as a second attempt. I want to begin to save my wandering thoughts or even my episodic fountains of thought to transcribe and recompile later. I did this in my youth to study and now in my old age I want to index the essence of my thoughts and beliefs. This recorder performed perfectly for this process and the essential controls were easy to access and intuitive for the hands. I wish it had a lanyard eye hook. The sound was appreciably loud and I turned it down so it wouldn't sound too tinny. As Fred Dryer used to say in that old police TV series, "It works for me!" Oh well, we know how expectations can fall appart, but, if this thing holds up for a while I may buy a second one. For the included accessories, this voice recorder was a great value. If my thinking changes, I hope Amazon will allow me to edit this review.

Title: Great recording device
Review: I use it to record people while interviewing them over the phone for a news article and to record press conferences, etc. Very compact but has an internal battery that charges with an included C charging cable and downloads digital files onto my laptop very easily. Might even have stereo recording, but I'm not sure of that. It's a lot of bang for the buck.

Title: I always wanted one of these!!
Review: This is exactly what I wanted plus more. I always wanted one as a kid and now I finally do and I don't have to deal with the little cassettes because it uses they micro usb card. It also plays music. The controls are easy to understand and the directions are clear. The font is a little small though. Would highly recommend.

Title: Barely audible recording
Review: I tried using the recorder and the result was a barely audible recorded sound. I can not use it. An over 10 year Olympus recorder cassette style was doing a better job than the 128GB Digital Voice Activated Recorder. Very disappointed. That's not everything. Amazon refuses to refund the return even though an Amazon gift card return takes only a few hours.
