Title: A great addition to the game room
Review: Modern Tvs just need a soundbar or some external speaker to make them enjoyable in my opinion. For a while I've been using my TV without one, and having picked this up as my solution was a great choice. The overall design feels pretty premium. the only exception I would say is the digital panel that is used for volume information, what device you're attached to etc. It is just a little too bright and not crisp like the rest of the product.Setup was surprisingly a breeze. I was expecting that that there would be a cord from the rear speakers to the sound bar, but to my surprise it was wireless. There is still a cord between the two rear speakers and one for power, but that is more manageable. You have to sync the rear speakers with the bar, but it seemingly connected with no issues right out of the box.Sounds quality is obviously an important factor for a theatre system like this. I do not have a lot of experience with the varieties of soundbars, but comparing it to a sony soundbar or a bose, I would say that the Ultimea system is a little tinny. The bass isn't as warm as wouldn't like it, so it sometimes feels like the audio is experienced in a school hallway. Now, this was just out of the box and after playing around with the settings it started sounding better. Still, even when I have dialed it in, something seems slightly off. This experience however does not prevent me from recommending this product. For the price, I think the quality is great and would be a great choice for someone who is skeptical on investing in a more expensive setup. This will meet your needs certainly.A few other things:Everything is a lot more smaller than I was expecting as well. I almost didn't believe it was the right package when it came to my door. The accompanying phone app is very useful for equalizing the sound. It's also a great backup for when the controller is buried somewhere in a chair or hidden by your child!

Title: Not quite there
Review: The ease of connection is a plus. Unfortunately the sound falls short for a good size room. If you are looking for deep base this is not for you. Cool app feature sonyou can expand on the sound with the app via equalization but still not enough. Kept it for use in another room where the sound is not as important. Not too bad for the price point so it's not a bad purchase just don't expect too much.

Title: These work phenomenally!
Review: These work so great, love the surround sound. The directions were very easy to follow and easy setup/install. No issues with the speakers and comes with all the necessary wiring. Quality seems quite decent and the bass is pretty sweet, we are definitely very happy with this speaker system. Seems like a fantastic system for someone on a budget.

Review: This system has been a game changer to our family room movie-watching. I LOVE IT! My family loves it. It was very easy to install and set up. The remote is great but the app is better.

Title: Remote required - Affordable Surround Sound
Review: Update 10/23/24: The Ultimea Labs reached out to me about the issues I was having and provided insight. The 7.1ch is virtual surround audio technology and does not have an HDMI connection mode, so it does not support decoding Dolby Atmos audio. This is different than the traditional receiver/amplifier that would have controlled the subwoofer and calibrated each speaker to adjust to the setup. Instead, this unit is controlled by the center soundbar. The critical element to control the soundbar is the remote which I wasn't using because I thought the app would have offered the same function but I was incorrect. The app is not very useful except for customizing the EQ or sound style (music, movie, more/less bass, etc.). The remote was able to increase the bass from the subwoofer by the BassMx button and increase the back speaker sound by the "surround" button. Per manufacturer suggestion, I did play music with the soundbar and it did perform like a surround sound just not as well as my traditional 5.1 surround sound speakers. The frequency range doesn't hit the high and the low frequency like the Klipsch or Polk Audio where the sound is crisp and clear but instead this is a bit muffled. Again, each of those speakers would have cost more than this system alone so it's not a fair comparison other than this is an affordable or economical surround sound.Original 10/21/24: I got the Ultimea surround sound system setup which was super fast. The wiring was simple as they are color-coded and labeled. I connected via Bluetooth because this is mainly used for my computer speaker. After everything was setup/wired, I had to power on the front unit first. Then press the BT button and pair with a Bluetooth device. I was pretty excited when sound came through so it was on to the next test. I used the YouTube "Dolby Atmos test tones 7.1.4 Channel Check" to verify each speaker. I must gotten a lemon because my left speaker is mainly coming out of the front speaker. Both of the rear right and left speakers are so weak that I can barely hear anything and all the sound is coming out of the front speaker. The subwoofer is not working. I can feel it vibrate gently but there's hardly any sound coming from it. I was very disappointed that I couldn't change the volume of the subwoofer. Overall, after setting everything up, it's ended up being a cheap standard (non-surround) computer speaker Well, at least it doesn't make any static noise during hold mode.

Title: Fantastic system!
Review: This surround sound system was exactly what we were looking for! This system took less than 10 minutes to set up and operate. The rear speakers connected easily and really work better than the tv speakers which are pointed down under the tv? We can now hear the tv voices better than ever in (Voice mode). The sound is rich and full even on the lowest setting. The app volume control is a little clunky and not smooth, but it works. This sound system is a great value for what you all are getting.

Review: This is a great compact, well priced sound system. I have over a number of years tried to find a balance for the sound that I have used with my TV. I have used stand alone sound bars with sub woofers, a large full sound system set up and higher end smart speakers with sub woofer set up.For me trying to find the balance between what is really needed in terms of the actual power that I am going to use and wanting a setup where the speakers do not dominate the room, whilst wanting good clear sound with a fair degree of bass, a good surround sound and very clear dialogue (this is very important to me). This offers a great balance. The surround speakers are small, the subwoofer compact and the soundbar itself is extremely well sized. Given this the sound it produces is full, with a good rich base, the dialogue is extremely clear, the surround sound works very well and you can increase the effect. You can connect the soundbar through a number of ways though I focused on optical cable (for the surround sound) and bluettoth (for my phoen and other devices)I have been listening to this now for nearly 3 weeks as my main TV sound system. Up until then I have been using a very good recent large soundbar and subwoofer. I was planning to move this and use with my projector in the main bedroom but I have found myself extremely reluctant as I have really enjoyed using this as the main system. The set up is really straight forward with power only needed for the soundbar and the back speakers. Power is supplied to the other speakers from those connections and front to back sound connection is wireless. The remote offers a deep range of functions and the APP itself is useful though much more limited in what it can do.It also has simple presets for gaming, watching films, sports, listening to music, a focus on the voice and a night mode. There are lots of other options as well. For the price this is an excellent setup that offers more than enough sound for the average lounge without the speakers dominating the room. I like it a lot.

Review: I was impressed by the quality of this product right away, it's well packaged and everything looks well made and is solidly built.the system consists of two halves the front half and the rear half. the front central speaker connects to both the front left and front right speakers as well as the subwoofer and is all powered by one plug adaptor.the rear half is the two rear speakers which are connected to each other and to another power adaptor and communicate with the front half wirelessly. this is useful as you don't need to run as many cables around the room but does necessitate power sockets are available both front and back.once setup the system runs a virtual surround setup rather than real surround sound. for my basic needs this is perfectly fine but is worth noting if you are looking for a fully fledged system.connecting the system to audio sources is very easy and the sound produced was an improvement on the stock speakers in my tv and my desktop pc speakers.the remote and app give you a lot of control over the sound so you can tailor it to get the ideal setup for your room.for the price i think it's a pretty capable system that will be just fine for a lot of peoples needs. if you are looking for the full cinematic surround experience though you may want to look elsewhere.
