Title: Love Love Love it!
Review: This is my go to slow cooker recipe book. Love it! The crockpot mac and cheese is excellent, and doesn't require you to cook the pasta ahead of time (which would defeat the purpose of a crock pot, right???). Other favorites include French Dip Sandwiches, New Year's Soup, Mulled Pear Punch, Steak Soup, Ham and White BEan Soup, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Creamy Beef and Spinach over Noodles, Saucy Chipolte Barbecue Pork (OMG, the best), Easy Spanish Pork Dip Sandwiches, Creamy Ranch Cauliflower, MOcha Pudding Cake, Carmel Bread Pudding, and Squash and Cornbread Casserole. Although there isn't a picture for every recipe, there are quite a few color pictures. The recipes are quite easy to follow, and I recommend this cook book to everyone.

Title: Very attractive
Review: I purchased it for a gift for my adorable son-in-law. I now plan to order two more for two of my sons.I did not give it five stars because I had to pay shipping charges and Prime has me spoiled.

Title: We love this cookbook!
Review: When the words "Southern Living" and "slowcooker" are in the title, how can you go wrong? We have many favorites from this cookbook and use it several times a month. The recipes taste great, are easy to follow and generally are not that expensive ingredient wise. There are also some handy tips, such as starting off the recipe on high for one hour before switching to low to help get raw meat up to proper cooking temperature faster. My wife and I have enjoyed this so much that we have given it as a gift to pretty much every member of our family.

Title: Not well thought out
Review: Although the recipes are lovely, too many of them (at least half!) have cooking times of 4 or 5 hours. So for the wonderful breakfast casserole, I'm supposed to get up at 4 a.m. to put it together for breakfast at 8? What were they possibly thinking? And I'm also supposed to run home from work at 2 p.m. to put dinner on for 6 p.m. that night? Huh? Maybe these recipes are supposed to appeal to folks who don't have jobs, and are free to start the meal at anytime (althought the 4 a.m. breakfast recipe still puzzles me). But are they really the folks who use slow cookers? Most of us want recipes that cook for at least 8 hours, so that we can put them on before we go to work and have them ready and waiting when we get home. Maybe someone at Southern Cooking needs a reality check.

Title: Great Recipe Book!
Review: I’m ordering another one of these books for my father in-law who really liked one of the recipes that my wife and I cooked up one evening when her parents were in town. This book is chock full of great slow-cook recipes that we have, without much resistance, tried a lot of. I can tell you from personal experience that maybe 1 of them was given a “meh” rating, but the rest were off the charts good. It takes a while to cook, but try the beef brisket slow cooked in red wine with potatoes and different vegetables, it’s one of our favorites!

Title: My favorite slow cooker book... my 3rd one!
Review: Seriously the best slow cooker book ever. This is my 3rd copy I've purchased - my own, one for mom and now this for my brother and sister-in-law because I am tired of emailing them recipes! Some of my faves: The mac & cheese - SO easy!!! Chicken enchiladas, Barbeque shredded chicken, french dip.. and on and on. I bought the newer version, which has some repeat recipes but I still like this book the best.
