Title: Finally.
Review: I’ve searched for a very long time for a lightweight super portable easy to carry and use speaker that sounds really good. As a professional speaker, I’m often hired for smaller or private corporate events with “event coordinators” who either ignore or misunderstand specified A/V requirements. Despite their reassurances, I never know until I arrive what I’ll have to work with. As a fallback, I need a decent portable speaker that I can use to play video. In a pinch, for a smaller room this will easily do the trick and for a larger room, I can amplify it with a handheld or lavaliere microphone. I had a tiny one for years that sufficed… I got it as swag from a client. It eventually gave up that ghost and I’ve never found a suitable substitute that was t big or heavy. This is neither. It isn’t fragile, took 2 seconds to pair and weighs only 6.8 oz. So happy!!! Would give it more stars if I could.

Title: Great sound for something so small!
Review: The sound is rich, full, and has decent bass. The sound quality is almost as good as my JBL Flip 5.I bought this because it would fit in my carry on and is water resistant. It lasts about 4-5 hours with a charge. Great little Bluetooth speaker. Love that it has a loop.for clipping to a bag or back pack.

Title: Great little speaker
Review: I have used this a few times and so far it is great! Nice and small but pretty powerful and loud enough that I can hear my music over the noise of the shower and ventilation fan combined. I personally wouldn’t test the dust/sand proof or waterproof claims- just based on how the product looks and other reviews I read prior to purchasing. I did purchase a protective silicone cover for it and I think it will prevent the speaker from vibrating and falling off a countertop or shelf. I do agree with other reviewers that the sound it makes when you turn it on and off is a bit loud and startling at first. I wish there was a way to disable that noise. Overall seems like a great purchase!

Title: For the size sound is good
Review: Be aware this is a very compact speaker, I can say is even smaller than the jbl go 2 (which I have tried in the past) mid and high frequencies are good 👍🏻, low frequencies mmmm I wanted a deeper bass, but you cannot demand a very deep bass if it doesn't have a big subwofer, I'll give it an 8/10 it is very loud for the size and battery last more than one day at least for me, I listen to music on my job between 4-6 hours a day with the volume more than a half and when I arrive home battery is at 70%, another thing that I like is that in this version you can use the JBL portable app to manually adjust the equalizer or select a preset, you can see the battery percentage and also pair another jbl go 4 to have stereo sound, it is supposed this speaker is waterproof but I havent tried that and I think I wont lol.In conclusion, if you don't mind having a not so deep bass and you care more about compactness, strong sound and long battery life, this speaker is ideal for you. If you care a lot about low frequencies and beautiful bass, it's better to opt for a larger option from JBL.

Title: Huge improvement over v3
Review: I’ve had the version 3 for years, and got my partner the 4 since they’ve been wanting a good portable speaker. I’m very impressed. It has better sound quality. The sound now is not affected by the way the speaker is resting or pointing. It’s lighter than the 3. You can now sync multiple. I’ll be buying one for myself as well. A great speaker for the size and price.

Review: I totally agree with all the 5 star reviews for this little gem of a speaker from JBL. You won't believe the sound coming out of something this small and light (6.7 oz). I think what stuck me the most was the pleasant tone and clarity of sound. It will not have deep bass like a larger speaker (physics of size), but what it does accomplish is amazing for it's size. Attractively styled in several fun colors and feels solid and well made. The silicone covers are slightly grippy and holds it in place upright or laying on it's back. Controls all work well. Battery life depends on volume and music type (bass heavy), but for light to medium volumes it will last 7-10 hours. Download the JBL app to get the most out of your Go 4 and easily allows stereo pairing (must be same model), EQ adjustment (I prefer the JBL signature sound), Auracast (mono signal though other JBL speakers at the same time with same feature) and battery level (app display only) to nearest 10%. Charges quick and cool with USB-C. I'm delighted with the sound in a Stereo pair. Audio latency is minimal and reasonable for dialogue too. As with all speakers, allow some time for break in and further sound improvement, but it is pretty good out of the box.An excellent fun great sounding product of which you'll want more :-)Happy Listening!**Caveat: You need a newer source device with the more recent Blue Tooth and Codecs to make it sound it's best. Older Android phones only have SBC codec (the most basic) which sounds dreadful and not the speaker's fault. I compared an older Samsung S8 to a recent S23 and the sound difference is dramatic in all aspects. Older apple devices may have better codec capabilities (?).
