Spider Fighter is the new handheld implement that kills venomous spiders in your home, with more confidence, safer distance, and without being directly under the spider. Transparent for better accuracy, unique angle for ceilings, corners and many other odd places you'll discover. It has an 18 inch reach with a 4 x 4 inch kill zone. The Spider Fighter is of superior quality, made in USA, from polycarbonate that's used to make bulletproof windows, safety glasses, etc. It's nearly unbreakable so it should last a lifetime, unlike regular plastic, and comes with a replacement guarantee. The Spider Fighter is too thin to be bulletproof so don't try to shoot it. Saving a loved one or yourself from being bitten by a venomous spider was the original inspiration for the Spider Fighter and still is! Other conventional means like the flyswatter, shoe, broom, waded-up paper, etc., are inadequate for the task and can let the spider escape to possibly spin a web and lay 100's of eggs or inflict damage at a later date. Get that spider the first time you see it, because the only thing worse than finding a spider in your bedroom, is losing a spider in your bedroom! Spider Fighter is eco-friendly and a great alternative or assistance to pesticides, to that just arrived spider, cockroach, insect or bug. It will always be the right choice for this "task specific" problem. Like the flyswatter, it's the best tool for the job because of its' "task specific" design. It's why the Spider Fighter should be in every home right next to the flyswatter. Some pets love to put their nose where it doesn't belong and can be bitten by a venomous spider and should be taken to the Vet immediately. Spider Fighter will eventually become as common as the flyswatter, but for now, it's quite a novelty. Makes a great gift! Hang it next to your flyswatter.
Eco-Friendly - 100% polycarbonate, the same material as bulletproof windows and safety glasses. Made in USA
Transparent, perfect angled handheld tool, for accuracy. Relies on user for push or pull squish action.
The Spider Fighter handle can bend more than some poeple would think and can actually work as an advantage, especially against a wall! Spider Fighter's safer material, Polycarbonate, factors a "soft bend" effect, in that the handle would bend until it became deformed rather than a dangerous snap break. Venomous spiders are very delicate and do not require much pressure to squish, and the Spider Fighter handle will never be required to be bent to where it would damage it.
The only thing worse than finding a spider in your bedroom, is losing a spider in your bedroom. Eliminate that venomous spider the very 1st time you see it!
Hang it next to your flyswatter.

Title: If you’re afraid of spiders, you NEED this!
Review: There I was, lying in my bed, relaxing and enjoying my home, only to casually glance up and see a nasty spider on the ceiling directly above me! Fear, disgust and anger pulsed through me as I scrambled out of bed. But thanks to my trusty spider killer, no longer did I have to sweep a broom up and then hope for the best as the nasty critter fell on my bed. No longer did I have to spray dangerous chemicals into the air and watch in horror as the spider scrambled to get away, often somewhere out of reach. Instead, I used the spider killer and positioned it directly underneath the spider, then I pressed it against the ceiling and SPLAT! It was over, the spider had nowhere to go, he couldn’t tuck into a corner or get away, he was a goner! The only inconvenience was wiping his dead body off the surface and into the garbage can. I love this product!

Title: perfect for this arachnophobe
Review: Let me start by saying that I have a HUGE, irrational fear of spiders. I am fine with tiny spiders and daddy long-legs, but where I live we get pretty massive ones, especially in the fall. I don't know what they are called exactly, but I can't do a google search for the name because just looking at all the pictures of large spiders makes me completely ill. Now, these spiders seem to have figured out that I am terrified of them, because as soon as my spouse leaves on a business trip, they come out of hiding to laugh at me. So I spent about 3 days extensively researching all kinds of spider-catching tools, and I concluded that this was the best thing for my particular situation. The battery-operated bug vacuums all had mediocre ratings, and the bugzooka thing only seems to work on smaller bugs. I can't use our vacuum cleaner because the attachment hose is way too short to reach spiders on the ceiling. I needed something to get spiders in ceiling joints and corners, without me having to get too close to them. The Spider Fighter is PERFECT. Here is a (hilarious) video of how it works:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1M0U5z1eX2o(Incidentally, my spiders are about as big as the one in the video.) I used to freak out whenever I saw a spider, and then I would have to spend about 20 minutes figuring out the best way to kill the spider without 1) accidentally touching it, 2) having it fall on my head, or 3) only maiming it and letting it get away. Since our Spider Fighter arrived, I have disposed of 3 or 4 spiders already, without any panic attacks or nervous breakdowns. If you don't like cleaning up spider guts, the manufacturer even has a Youtube video on how to use packing tape to get the spider. Brilliant. The only (very minor) cons about this product are:1) the handle is a little short. Or rather, I am a little short. So I still have to stand on a chair to get spiders that are on the ceiling. But that is ok, since that reduces the chance that the spider will fall on my head, because I can get it from an angle.2) it can't get spiders that are hanging on soft objects like curtains. oh well. I'll still have to use an old-fashioned shoe for that.3) the handle is a little flexible, which still works on the spiders we have; but I could see having problems killing the really really big fat hairy tarantula types. It would be even better if this thing were made of metal, but that would increase the cost significantly. Luckily, I do not live in a climate that gets fat hairy spiders, and I don't ever plan to.All is all, this is the best $16 (incl. shipping) I have spent in a LONG LONG time.

Title: flimsy plastic handle
Review: The handle is very flimsy. When applying pressure, the handle bends and I can see could break over time, or if to much pressure is applied.

Title: This tool should be as common as the flyswatter!
Review: The Spider Fighter is a game changer. We bought this 5 years ago, and it has worked perfectly as-promised to take down all manner of spider and insect quickly and easily. We rely on it for easy disposal of spiders that reduces the stress-level of the process to a minimum. No swinging a flyswatter and crossing your fingers, and no losing sight of the spider. The process of dispatching a spider feels downright surgical with this thing. We keep two at opposite ends of the house, and over the years we've bought many as gifts for friends and family that, several of which thought it was a gag gift until they squashed they're first spider with ease and became true believers. If you hate dealing with spiders and other creepy, fast insects, don't hesitate to buy this.

Title: Too short, and too flimsy.
Review: Nope, won't work for me. Much too short and flimsy. The clear head IS a good idea, but you need something thick, so it won't flex against the wall (and the spider). Also, the stick should be wood, or something much stronger than this, and ideally, it would screw into the center, not one side, of the head. My spiders are on the ceiling, and this stick won't even come close to reaching them. How can this be the only bug-squisher available, anyway? It seems like a pretty basic need to me, so why are there no other options?I don't like to kill things, either, but bugs are sometimes too big a problem to simply try to relocate them, and poison is dangerous to pets.

Title: A good novalty
Review: This is simply a novel idea for those that would take the joke. Has little practical purpose beyond that which can be filled by any inanimate object.

Title: Lifesaver!
Review: This thing is a life saver. I would love a longer version (that can reach further) because I want to be as far away from the spider as possible. That said, as someone who is extremely afraid of spiders, this thing is amazing. And to be clear, it still does allow me to be relatively far from the spider while also trusting that I can kill the spider. It’s sturdy so you can press it firmly against the wall and because you can see through it, you can know that the spider is dead. Highly recommend.

Customers say

Customers like the functionality and spider-killing ability of the product. They mention it works great and is excellent for getting spiders in hard-to-reach places. However, some customers have reported that the sturdiness and hand grip are too short.
