Title: So far an excellent pan (6 times used)
Review: Solid pan and even heating with no apparent "dead spots". This pan has performed well for scrambled eggs, vegetable saute, chicken breast, and salmon. With proper preheating before adding oil it's as close to non stick as you can get with stainless steel. Any stains usually come out easily but for the times when they don't a little liquid Barkeeps Friend brings it back to looking new. All in all an excellent piece of kitchen hardware for a great price!

Title: Top-Quality Cookware Set!
Review: The Tramontina Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel 12-Piece Cookware Set is absolutely fantastic! The tri-ply design heats evenly, and the pots and pans are sturdy, durable, and induction-ready. I love that they’re dishwasher-safe, making cleanup super easy. The set includes everything I need for everyday cooking, and the NSF certification gives extra peace of mind about quality. Made in Brazil, this cookware set is both beautiful and functional. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen!

Title: Fabulous. Can't recommend more
Review: Great size for many different applications, and the stainless steel construct allowing this to be oven safe really means the possibilities are endless. I've used this for curry, braised beef, pasta, etcetc. Also super easy to clean -- the clad construct means the sides don't scorch easily and the shape and size are great for sauteeing / stirfrying. Great heat distribution. Really easy to clean too and really takes a beating. The only thing: be careful on induction as it's very responsive to induction and may burn easily if used on high settings. Keep this on medium and the heat will be sufficient for most purposes, even searing. Fortunately though the pot is quite thick so retains heat well. Overall not prone to burning and has been an absolute joy to cook with.

Title: High end performance and affordable - great cookware set
Review: This is an excellent cookware set. I use every pan routinely. Very durable and heats evenly. I have no issue cleaning them. Keep in mind when cooking in this type of pan you have to heat the pan first, then add oil, then food. Hot pan – cold oil – then your food won’t stick. A little bar keepers friend after washing to remove any leftover food residue and the pans will look just like new. Mine do, and I have been cooking almost daily in them for almost 8 months now. The large covered sauté pan is my favorite. It has a nice, wide bottom and straight sides – you can cook lots of food at one time in it.I have a couple of All Clad pans, and there is no difference in performance between the All Clad and the Tramontina, but a huge difference in price. Highly recommended set!

Title: Nice
Review: This is an excellent “everything” pan/pot. A little bit of quinoa? A couple pieces of chicken? A whole stew? Yes to all of the above. Good quality and even heating like the rest of my Tramontina pans. My only slight complaint is that it takes a really long time to boil water in it. I mean a half hour on gradually higher heat before you get bubbles at the bottom. That’s unlike my other pans from them. Altogether, not a really big deal and wouldn’t deter me from recommending this.

Title: What did I ever do without this?
Review: I have struggled with soupy pasta dishes and sautés sloshing out of traditional shallow frying pans for years. I finally decided to upgrade all of my aging cookware and turns out there are all sorts of fun shapes and sizes out there! This 3-qt braiser/rondeau is my favorite. You can fry in it, make stews and pasta dishes in it, cook meat and casseroles, you name it. Basically, if all you ever had was ONE thing to cook in, this might be it. It is not non-stick, but as long as you preheat it until it is good and hot, and use a layer of oil in the bottom, it cleans up easily, like new. This is a good company, a solid pan, a good buy in my opinion. And it should last for YEARS.

Title: Pro quality, professional grade pot. Why pay more?
Review: I am tired of supporting the Chinese economy! This pan is made in Brazil. Excellent cooking ability and heavyweight. My daughter is looking forward to it being a heirloom! Really though, she can't wait and is buying her own after seeing it. We have other pots and pans from the company. All are easy to clean and give good results when using them to cook! I trust them!

Title: Beautiful cookware with a caveat
Review: This 8-piece set of cookware by Tramontina is lovely. Really pretty. First I cooked rice in the 3-quart saucepan. Now, the bottom of that pot does not fit perfectly over any of my burners, so I used the burner closest to the size of the pan's bottom. It did alright even though the burner was a bit small for the pan. I did use a bit of medium high heat to bring the water to a boil, which is not recommended by the manufacturer. The rice turned out fine, thanks. After I washed and dried the pan, however, I could see that the the very inside bottom of the pan was discolored. Of course, I was pretty dismayed. Then I reread the directions again. Be sure to read the directions. There are several mentions of what can happen when high heat settings are used. These words under "CLEANING AND CARING FOR YOUR COOKWARE" were helpful: "Prolonged exposure to high heat settings may cause your cookware to discolor. To recondition your cookware or to remove stubborn spots or stains, use a nonabrasive pad and quality stainless steel cleanser such as Bar Keepers Friend." Well, Bar Keepers Friend did indeed remove the stains on the inside bottom of my pan, and I was very happy about that. Next time I make my rice, I'll exercise greater patience and wait for the water to boil at a lower temp setting. Here's an update. I have exercised greater patience. I've owned this cookware for less than a month. Every piece has now been used to cook food. Adhering to temperature settings no higher than medium has prevented serious staining. I still use Bar Keeper's Friend to remove stray spots. Bar Keepers Friend will help me keep my Tramontina cookware gleaming and beautiful. I'm very thrilled to own this set. It was recommended by the NY Time's Wirecutter for induction. I don't have an induction cooktop. I fell in love with this cookware set for its stainless steel properties and weight.

Review: Deliberated for a long time which pan to get, and I'm glad we got this one. I've cooked so many dishes in it already, and I love that it's stainless steel because I can make it nonstick by heating it the right way.Which you probably know, but in case you didn't, it's when you heat the CLEAN PAN on medium heat till you can splash a few drops of water and the water rolls around like little beads. That's when it's nonstick.Have used this to cook large batches of food, sometimes you just need that depth to make sure food's not flying everywhere as you stir fry or push things around.Great for stews, stir fries, fried rice, etc. Whatever you wanna cook you can probably do in there. Worth the price, happy with it, and will likely keep it for a long long long time.No need to worry about the non stick coating from teflon coated pans at all.

Review: I love it! It’s not too heavy, but feels substantial. The handle feels good in your hand. I’m very pleased with my purchase. I’m so glad I didn’t bother with All-Clad.
