Title: Does not fit 06 Softail P/N 31553-94
Review: Starter does not fit. It is too long and will not sit in transmission to even bolt up. Also DB Electrical will not support their products.

Title: Perfect fit for my '03 Wide Glide
Review: Thus far, the installation and initial operation were flawless. I had a 1.4KW starter previously that worked fine but struggled after I upgraded from an 88cid to 95cid. The increased compression was a burden for the older starter. The 2.4KW starter is larger but connects exactly the same as the 1.4KW and started without issue.

Title: jackshaft bolt is to short/will not fit 03 heritage
Review: the first 3/4 of the shaft is drilled and tapped for 1/4 20 bolt. the last 3/4 is drilled and tapped for #10-32 bolt .it was sent with a 6'' long 10-32 which is to short, it is not long enough to even get a thread started! jackshaft is drilled for 10-32 so going to a 1/4 "bolt is not an option. Called dB electrical for the correct bolt but was unsuccessful. Was told they do not make that length. Ended up fabricating the one required to make it work. Starter has lots more torque than stock and turns 95'' upgrade motor very good.it is longer than stock starter but still fit

Title: As good as a Spyke high torque starter that is more than double the price.
Review: Considering the price (very inexpensive for a Harley starter), it had a very quality feel about it. Fires my bike up without hesitation every time. Those knuckleheads on here writing reviews, saying the starter didn't work, have misdiagnosed their problems. I'm no rocket scientist, but if your old starter didn't work, and now a new one with a factory test data sheet supplied with it doesn't work, sorry Eienstien, but its not the starter.THIS IS A GREAT STARTER FOR A GREAT PRICE!

Title: This starter will end all your starting issues
Review: I was shocked at the quality of this starter each starter comes with a performance test data sheet showing it's performance mine put out 2.8 kw it cranks motor at 1500 rpm will even crank motor at 6 volt to start it's quite Abit bigger than stock starter but fits perfect the chrome is quality last starter you'll have to buy

Title: LASTED 9 Days! I bought 2 both failed. DONT BUY IT.
Review: I bought 2 the first lasted a few months, your voltage will start fluctuating and then the solenoid will get stuck and not engage. It will drain your battery and get your stranded. So I bought and another one like a dummy. This one lasted 9 days! Exact same thing except it won't start at all. Just drain your battery and your wallet buying primary gaskets, batterys and oil. DONT BUY THIS CRAP. GO TO EBAY AND BUY AN ULTIMA MADE IN USA! DONT BUY THIS CHINESE GARBAGE.!
