Title: Starter Relief
Review: Relieved that I finally did this when I did. Sounds better and cranks better than the old one. Keeping the old one in case for whatever reason this one fails. Old one works, just slower is all. Easy install. Done in 5-7min. It may have a pretty slow crank 1st time for the bike to get acclimated to the new starter. After that should fire up like normal.

Title: Great alternator - Great company - Fast Shipping
Review: I put this on a 1968 Ford 3000 tractor. The conversion took about 2 hours total time before I was cranking the tractor. The wiring instructions are great so you should not have any issues with that. The instructions for mounting were not that great but if you are considering doing this yourself then you obviously feel you have the mechanical skills to perform the task. The bottom mounting bracket has a spacer and it is easy enough to figure out how that goes together. On the 3000 the spacer goes on the back side of the alternator. The upper mounting bracket attaches in a different place than the original so I had to trial and error installing it. It mounts a little higher on the head and the first time I flipped it the wrong way. Took two minutes to take it off and flip it. Because the alternator is fatter than the original generator that was on it, that makes it stick out a littler further from the engine so the belt was too short. The original belt on my tractor was 54". I went down to the part store and bought a 55" and a 56" belt. I tried to the 55 first but it was also too short. The 56" was just perfect so I took the 55" back for a refund. Not only did this solve my problem of the generator not charging the battery (old and bad) but it truly seems to be running better. I had already converted it to electronic ignition which made it run better but this alternator definitely supplies better power to the ignition. I purchased the alternator with the tachometer connector on the back. I think my tractor now runs better than the day it was new.

Title: What a great way to bring a classic to the 21st century!
Review: My 1968 Ford 5000 tractor had the old generator. I don't know if it was the generator or voltage regulator, but as soon as I'd get it all working, it would stop again.I just finished a complete electrical overhaul of the tractor. Replaced the points with an electronic ignition, put in a real fuse box, replaced the headlights and tail light with LEDs, installed strobes for warning lights and mounted LED work lights high on the canopy so I can see all around the machine at night. But, I also gutted the electrics and replaced just about everything. The kit comes with everything you need to hook to the old wiring. No idea how that works, but I suspect it works just fine. I did need to get a longer fan belt which the kit did not include. Thankfully the local NAPA has a real "parts guy" who didn't need the computer to tell him what a belt an inch longer looked like.Everything else worked exactly as I hoped. Installation was straight forward. The wiring was a little different as I did my own thing there. Since I hate having a ton of wires coming off a battery, I use the battery post of the starting solenoid as my point of connection. One wire from there to the battery, one wire to the alternator, and one wire to the new fusebox.Operationally, it just works. I think it charges MUCH better than the old generator, but who knows what shape the generator was in.If I had one gripe, it is the fact that the connector is sticking out the side in the weather. I filled around the connector with some silicone, but having that connector where it is just seems like a bad design. I realize that is where the connector is on these alternators, its just a perception thing. In any case, this is a must have upgrade for these classic tractors.

Title: Failed quality test and warranty
Review: The starter lasted 34 days. To make a long story shortDB Electric said it was an Amazon issue. Amazon took care of the problem. DB Electric did not honor the warranty.

Title: Finally!!! ð
Review: I have owned my Stratoliner for 12 years and never has it started like this. One review said this was 10x better than OEM. I assumed that to be an exaggeration. However, it was an understatement!!!! I am so happy with my starter!. And had 2 shops tell me that the old starter was fine. So skip the opinions. If your 1900cc is slow to start, purchase this now.

Title:
Review: This starter motor was a replacement for my Yamaha XV1900 Raider. Fitted perfectly, bolted straight on with no complications. It appears to be much better than the genuine starter. Turns the bike engine over much better, no sluggishness, and the bike fires up straight away. Delivery was quick, without any issues, full tracking provided by the seller. If you need a starter motor for the XV1900 range I would have no problem recommending this one.
