Review: I loved the Mr Mercedes series and Holly. Was glad to see that she was in this story . Getting ready to start on the next book, Holly. I'm sure it will be another great book. Stephen King is an amazing story teller.

Title: Brilliant first third, poor winding up and lousy ending.
Review: The first third of this book is brilliant and a real page-turner. However, because this part is so good, the latter half feels comparatively weak, and the whole story winds up abruptly and unsatisfactorily. To explain all the chaos he created, Stephen King resorts to his habitual way: he introduces a ghost, alien, or something/someone not existing on Earth. The final scenes (from the confrontation with the "Outsider," winning the battle, and returning to normal life) feel like a cheap soap opera. But to be frank, his descriptions of the characters and his storytelling ability to captivate readers in the first third are truly outstanding, and that is the reason why he is still popular.

Review: 4 StarsKing does it again! Simply Masterful!Young Frankie Peterson is dead. His death was brutal: gruesome, horrific and completely senseless. All evidence points to Terry Maitland, beloved Little League Coach, as the murderer. His fingerprints are all over the crime scene and eye-witnesses place him with Peterson moments before his death. Enraged by the viciousness of the crime, and convinced of Maitlandâs guilt, Detective Ralph Anderson arranges for the public arrest of Maitland: in front of his family, friends and his Little League team. Almost immediately thereafter, new evidence comes to light showing that Maitland was seen on camera hundreds of miles away at the exact moment the murder took place.Can a person possibly be in two places at once? Wouldnât you say that itâs physically impossible? (I know for a fact that its not seeing as Iâve actually done it. I once straddled the state lines of Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri â I thought it was pretty cool - being in a city that had the same name but in different states!? Wowza!) That said, I will admit that Stephen Kingâs take on this subject is FAR cooler than mine).Thereafter, Terryâs wife, and a few others do whatever they can to prove his innocence. This started out as a mystery and then it changed into something else entirely. It is to Stephen Kingâs credit that he can do that and do it successfully.His mind works like no other and you never know what you will encounter or how his writing will impact you: one minute youâre holding your breath in the deep end, terrified a monster is going to pass you by, the next your eyes snap open, the shock has hit you and spasms wrack your body over and over. His ideas rock my world and they always have. Somehow, I know Iâm not alone.While I loved the premise of âThe Outsiderâ and was scared and completely shocked by the twists and turns, I felt that the storyline petered out a bit towards the end and it left me wanting just a tad. The characters however, were full of fierce determination, strength and lots of heart. What I learned is that if I lose something or get into trouble, I would be lucky to have Holly Gibney by my side and so would you.Thank you to Stephen King for continuously keeping me entertained since I was a pre-teen. Thank you also for giving a shout out to you know who - that was awesome! In case itâs not obvious, your imagination continues to amaze me. Review: Soy una miedosa totalmente pero con ganas de adentrarme más en el mundo de Stephen King, despues de haber leido otros tres libros de el decidi que era hora de algo mas âfuerteâ. Si tu tambien estas indeciso entre que seguir leyendo te lo recomiendo, te atrapa de una, y se lee super facil a pesar de que es un tremendo ladrillo. El libro va muy bien hasta que casi lo acabas donde me decepciono un poquito el final jaja. Pero sin duda alguna se puede omitir eso porque consigues lo que quieres un buen libro para pasar los dias y si terminas cuestionandote que demonios con llamemoslo el personaje malo. Eso hasta que llegas al final para reconfortarte y decirte a ti mismo bueno no existeâ¦
