Title: Makes Life Better
Review: For the past several years as Iâm getting older my stool is getting hard. Painful to pass it. Frequently the toilet plugs. Plunger doesnât work so out comes the snake. Overall an unpleasant experience. Iâve been taking one each day for about 1.5 to 2 years. No more drama. Itâs like being a young man again. I go everyday and my plunger and snake are collecting dust. No side effects other than a slight touch of gas once in awhile. I highly recommend these.

Title: Works well at a good price
Review: It works and it's a good price-but it's annoying that red food coloring is added. (Obviously I didn't read the ingredient label thoroughly!) It's much cheaper than name brand docusate sodium. Great for constipation and post-surgical opioid-induced issues.

Title: Effective for chronic constipation
Review: I've had chronic constipation all my life, as far back as I can remember. I've been to the ER twice in recent years because of impacted stools. One of these at each meal definitely helps keep my stool soft enough to pass. They're quite small, so they should be easy to swallow, but they keep getting caught in my throat and then I cough them back up - I guess they're so small the water can pass by them instead of pushing them down. I solve that problem by taking each one with a larger gelcap, and by taking them first, not after I've finished eating.I prefer the 1000-count bottle, also by Gericare, for the economy and so I don't have to buy them so often. I have a regular prescription-type pill bottle I fill from the Gericare bottle; that makes the pills easy to dispense and minimizes exposure of the rest of the pills to the air (although, of all the gelcaps I take, this one is the least apt to get sticky in humid weather).

Title: Moving right along!
Review: Does the job. I have noticed that this med moves things along a bit slower then others of this nature that I have used in the past. But I feel like this one gives me less stomach cramps then others have in the past.
