Title: Clean video, ring light is a plus!
Review: I recently started using the Razer Kiyo for my streaming and video calls, and I have to say, it has exceeded my expectations. The built-in ring light is a game changer, providing excellent illumination that enhances my appearance without harsh shadows. Itâs adjustable, so I can easily switch between soft and bright lighting, which is perfect for different environments. The video quality is impressive as well, delivering sharp and clear 1080p resolution at 30fps or 720p at 60fps. It captures colors accurately, making my streams look professional. The setup was a breeze; itâs plug-and-play, and it works seamlessly with various streaming software. One minor drawback is that the focus can sometimes be a bit finicky if I move around a lot, but itâs not a dealbreaker for me. Overall, the Razer Kiyo has significantly improved my streaming quality and made my setup feel more complete. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enhance their online presence!

Title: Bought 10 units for the office, All work great, but one died after 7 months
Review: But 10 units for the office. All are working great, with great quality. However, one of them died after 7 months. I hope the seller sees this, and contact me for replacement. I couldn't find any other way to get this replaced under warranty.

Title: Razer Kiyo Software has Function-Breaking Issues
Review: I have just started streaming and creating video content, so I was doing a lot of research to find a good webcam to add to my setup. This camera was featured in a YouTube review where it's performance and output during testing looked great, so I decided to buy it. Ugh, what a mistake! If you need to turn off the Auto-Exposure feature of this camera to manually set up your lighting, say goodbye to your frame rate. Everything becomes blurry and horribly slow and there is no way around it. I searched forums about how to fix this issue and there are no solutions. In fact, what I discovered is that this has been a known problem with the software for over 3 years and Razer has still not resolved it.Also, the Auto-Focus feature of the camera is highly unreliable. It will often focus on something completely non-sensical causing the main subject to look blurry. Razer's solution to this is 'just set the focus manually.' Yes, that does work, but only if you don't move significantly from the location in which the focus is working.Other than the glaring problems above, this actually is a really nice webcam. It's unfortunate that the function-breaking issues have not been resolved, as it could have been a great product.

Review: I'm really happy with the Razer Kiyo performance at 60 CAD. The camera has pretty good dynamic range and doesn't completely suck in the dark like so many others. The light ring works well and is adjustable. The microphone is good enough that I disconnected my $30 condenser mic and only rely on the built-in mic on the Kiyo now. The synapse software works well too and zoom is adjustable from a fairly wide angle starting point. 60 fps @ 720p is nice if you want to make 60 fps videos of gameplay captures or something.

Review: This is a really versatile camera, with brilliant quality, easy to use and I have been able to travel with it and use it for regular video call meetings wherever I am. Unfortunately, 16 months on, the product has started failing. I will be contacting the company to see if I can be sent another, as it's relatively new.
