The Rockville APM6 Active Studio Monitor Comes in Pairs and each monitor will be bi-amped. What this means is that there is a separate amp for the highs and a Separate amp for the lows! Each speaker has 175 watts peak output power and 67.5 watts RMS giving you a total of 350 watts peak and 175 watts RMS per pair. We spent a lot of time developing the most premium studio monitors we ever built! I am very pleased and excited to talk to you guys about what we did to make these speakers sound as good as they do. Enclosure is made of top quality MDF wood. Our enclosure is not particleboard, it is true high-grade MDF! The enclosure is 0.5” thick while the front board of it is a full 1” thickness to give you the ultimate best sound quality!
We use “baking paint” made for wood surface. It lasts long and is the best paint for speakers!
Beautiful finish is matte with a slight shine to it. Our designers spent a lot of time on the color to make it beautiful and elegant looking to improve the appearance of your studio or room

Title: Great bang for the buck
Review: These monitors are great. At $175 a pair, they are a steal. I was surprised how loud they get and even though they are 6.5 inch speakers, the bass isn't too bad. I did add a studio sub to round out the lower spectrum, but that was part of my plan all along..

Title: Wow! The sound quality! Home studio must. Crisp and clear!
Review: Wow! The sound is amazing, the base is deep and all sound is clear and crisp. I am so stoked! I use them in a hone studio and I am beyond impressed. Playing my music from my Mac is amazing. It loses a bit of volume when using my interface, but it sounds amazing. Plug and play with usb and xlr, no stress and extremely well built.

Title: Better Than Competition in this Price Range
Review: I tried a pair of Prosonus same timeframe. No comparison. First wattage, weight, then rest of specs blew those speakers out of the water. Then I listened to my flac files. As close to audiofile quality as I could imagine if they were twice the price. On top of everything else, speaker build exudes quality. Factory direct indeed.

Title: Worked for two weeks, then nothing!
Review: The symptom was sudden loud crackling, as if someone was plugging in an input but everything was solidly connected. I could see speaker incursion whenever it would loudly crackle. I thought it was a bad connection and unplugged it. It would still make the jarringly loud crackling sound. I would then cycle the power, which would allow the reconnected audio source to come through, but it would last only a few seconds and go away after more full volume crackling. Input gain was always at zero dB, and the master volume on the back of the unit was up to half way only. Incidentally, the dB switches on the back would illicit the same loud crackling when touched or switched in any position, and the same result occurred when the master output volume knob was rotated in any direction, including being all the way down. I really wanted these to work for my needs and went with them for being a U.S. made product. Sad to see this product fail so badly and only after two weeks of light use.
