Title: Fun Simple and Yummy and Definitely Worth It
Review: Great gift item for foodies, hot sauce lovers, DIY people.Packages came in a nicely packed, professional looking box and all the ingredients were meticulously packaged.I especially liked the easy instructions since I was a bit worried when I ordered that it might be too complex to make.But the instructions were clear and easy to follow.I made the mild version hot sauce in their instructions but added 1 ghost pepper to give it a boost and I like the result: a definite kick, but not spicy at all (YMWV), picture is included. I had it with the omelette that wife made and it went perfectly. Each batch will make about three bottles so the kit will last for a bit depending on how much you use hot sauce. After I finish the hot sauce I made, which should go pretty quickly since it is mild, I plan to make the medium version but maybe change the recipe a bit.Enjoy and definitely a gift that you will like.

Title: More Than You Expect
Review: This is a great gift, and we had fun making the sauces. It includes ingredients and recipes for several different kinds of sauces, and you will be able to make at least two varieties with what is included. Before you begin, take time read through the recipes, and the instructions to make sure you know exactly what order you're going to do things in. After that it was relatively simple and enjoyable. The only comment I would have is that the quantity the recipe estimates you will yield, is less than what we actually got. They definitely underpromise and overdeliver. We ended up adding additional vinegar to our finished products, and ending up with at least double the amount of product we expected. The best part about this is that once you understand how to make the sauces, you can easily get your own supplies, or grow your own supplies, and tinker around with all sorts of great combinations.

Review: YOU GUYS...I saw this as a Buzzfeed list suggestion. SO I BOUGHT IT for my husband for Fathers Day. But I got too excited. I’m not a good gift giver. I gave it to him. He loved it. This kit is like a science experiment kit except everything’s edible and probably going to make you have cramps. But here’s the thing, it’s super giftable. The presentation is really sweet. They give you glass bottles and sticker labels for your finished product, the kit comes with recipes (note some recipes require additional, easy to find ingredients), and since it’s geared towards men, it has a reminder to WASH YOUR EFFING HANDS! Flavors are good. Our kit came with a surprise ghost pepper that I assume most kits come with. It made my husband cry. LOL okay. Try giving birth to some kids without epidurals. Wimp! But it really did taste good and spicy and honestly I can’t say enough good things about this kit. Well put together, beautifully presented and overall Very thoughtful. They clearly care about their products and customers. 10/10. Or 5 stars out of 5 stars. Whatever.

Review: There were no recipe cards or recipe book, as promised in the two descriptions shown. There were only four basic recipes in a leaflet. I complained to the manufacturers and they sent me a pdf which contained little more than the few basic recipes that were in the instruction leaflet in the kit, except that, although the recipes had the same names, the quantities of the ingredients are thoroughly different, which is very confusing. What's the point of having recipes at all if we don't know which ones to follow? This kit was a birthday present to my autistic son, who loves chilli sauces and relishes, but, due to his handicap, needs to have things straight - not in a muddle like this. There were no testing strips, which were also supposed to be included. For some reason, this kit, according to your description, seems to be made purely with men in mind, but my son's hands are certainly not large for a man and he can hardly get the the plastic gloves on, they were so small. Altogether, I find this kit very disappointing.

He loved the gift and now knows how to make his favourite hot sauce that is hard to replicate. I loved the gift so much I recommended to a friend who grabbed it as a gift for a significant other. Very cool gift. The price could be a bit better. All in all a good product.
