Title: Excellent!
Review: This is wonderful stuff. You can use it in so many ways, too. It's spicy, and has a much better taste than the mild version, which is merely OK. It's very creamy and has a wonderful mouth-feel. Quite happy that it is sold here, as I can not find it in any store near me. Arrived quickly and packaged well.

Title: Arrived damaged
Review: Love this product, but can't get it in my local grocery store so I ordered on Amazon. Unfortunately, it wasn't wrapped well and arrive damaged, with the lid off, and the ajver spilled all over the box. Amazon won't replace, so I'm just stuck with a mess.

Title: A quality product
Review: My mother is the pickiest eater ever. She was practically a gourmet cook in her younger days and she was craving this item from her old country. I bought the jar and she had it almost gone in two days!!! This really put a smile on her face and I am looking forward to buying another jar for her in the near future. Review: Addictively delicious! I love Ajvar and I love spicy so this was a no- brainer. I use this on sandwiches or on bread or directly out of the jar. Anyway, it never lasts long because I can't leave it alone!

Title: Closest to the homemade Macedonian "ајвар" (ayvar)!
Review: Coming from Republic of Macedonia and living in US, I sure missed 'ayvar'! Even more, all my US friends and classmates were eager to try it. Living in a small town of Boulder, CO, this kind of product is not available in the local deli shops. So I read the most positive reviews on Amazon and I ordered on my own risk. It arrived 2 days later. I can not say but that this is the closest 'ayvar' to the homemade! I highly recommend it for anyone coming from the Balkans and is homesick. Title: Probably the best Ajvar money can buy
Review: Ajvar is product made of peppers, well known in Balkan countries. Typically home made, Ajvar is lot of work - not many can invest the time needed. Alternatives offered in stores frequently don't come close to taste of Ajvar we use to enjoy in our childhood. I like this one better than any other industrial product I tried. Declared as HOT, it may not satisfy all who love really hot Ajvar; mix in a bit of chili powder to taste. Few drops of fine cooking oil (no, not olive oil) adds to smoothness and creaminess.Enjoy it as a spread or salad.
