Deepen your enjoyment of TV, music, and more with bold bass when you pair Sub Mini with Beam, Ray, One, or One SL. Place it anywhere in the room, breeze through setup with help from the Sonos app, and experience richer, more immersive sound without any buzz or rattle.
Unlock your entertainment when you pair Sub Mini with Beam or Ray and experience dramatic depth that puts you inside your shows, movies, and games.
Within the acoustically sealed cabinet, dual custom woofers generate the full-toned low frequencies of a much larger subwoofer. Advanced processing further enhances the bass response.
Both woofers face inward to create a force-canceling effect that neutralizes distortion.
Trueplay tuning technology adapts the bass for your room's acoustics so it won't sound harsh, muddy, or flat—even if you place Sub Mini next to the wall. Supported iOS device required.

Title: Poweful bass in a compact design
Review: The Sonos Sub Mini Black delivers deep, powerful bass that elevates my home audio experience. Despite its compact size, it fills the room with rich sound and integrates seamlessly with my Sonos setup. The sleek, minimalist design fits any decor and stays out of sight while providing impressive audio. Installation was a breeze, and within minutes, I was enjoying enhanced sound quality for both music and movies. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their sound without taking up much space!

Title: Great product - Way hard to install
Review: I recently purchased the “Sub Mini” to complete my home theater system (Arc, surround speakers, and now the Sub Mini). I want to thank Sonos for producing such a great product, however, installing the Sub Mini was a horrible and frustrating experience. This is not what I expected from Sonos. All of the products that I have purchased were easy and seamless to install. That is why I purchased the Sub Mini, thinking that it too would also be easy to install. NOT SO. The problem was the PIN number that was required. The instructions were clear enough. However, the location of the PIN number and the Font Size and coloring made it almost impossible to read. I am 78 years old and even with my glasses on I could not read the number. It is located on the bottom side of the unit, on the side wall of the indentation where the power cord plugs in. Why would they hide it in such an obscure place. On top of that, it is printed in a light grey color on a black background with almost no contrast and a Font Size that is so small that you can't see it. Would you believe I had to ask my neighbor to read the number for me? I just can’t understand the reasoning behind the location and size of the number. Why not just print it on the underside of the box lid or on a card with the power cord. To say the least, I was frustrated and upset that I couldn't install the sub by myself. Add this problem to their very poor rollout of the updated app, and now I am wondering if I should consider buying any more Sonos products. Sonos needs to fix this issue soon, or risk other poor reviews and lost sales to those of us that aren’t 25 years old. Just be aware that if you purchase one of these, you will need 20/20 vision and a very strong flashlight in order to install it. Once you get it installed, the sound is amazing.

Title: Set up was easier than I thought
Review: I bought these on a cyber Monday deal. I always wanted this for my home and decided I deserve these beautiful speakers for Christmas! Set up was pretty easy and if you mess up, you can just reset the speakers and start over. I used the chat help desk one time and it was instant service. The sound quality look and the enhancement to my Home is unbelievable. Worth every penny. Think if Tesla and Apple decided to make speakers together…

Title: Thunder from down under
Review: Paired this “mini” with my ERA 100 stereo paid, and it sounds AMAZING. For starters, the bass is a listening game changer, and my ERA100’s image better with the sub taking over the lower end duties. Set up was a breeze, just like all my Sonos products. Don’t hesitate to add one of these to your Sonos ecosystem.

Title: All that’s needed for smaller space
Review: Moved my sub 3 to the living room, and used this sub mini for the smaller family room. Worked perfectly and sounded just as good.

Title: IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Review: Some of this might be obvious, but not to me at least.I read a number of reviews from people who were upset because they could not get their Sub to be recognized by the app and/or get it to install.Let me say, I have a number of Sonos products and never had this issue, UNTIL NOW.. I was using a Samsung tablet (like I normally do to control the system) and it had me keep jumping though hoops, turning bluetooth on and taking me to web pages saying I needed to do this or that and basically not installing. Constant loop of "try again" and not working.Thankfully, I did not give up, but instead I thought I'd try using my Samsung PHONE to install it. I connected to my Wifi with the phone and brought up the Sonos app. Clicked to add a product and after a minute it came up with the sub. After that the install was a breeze! The only real requirement was that I needed to lay my phone on top of the Sub over the logo when directed. Couple of seconds and it gave me a check mark and proceeded to install. It registered my product, let me know I needed to update the sub (which I did) and once done it was all set. No issues! So, for those having problems getting their sub installed, if you are using a tablet or something, perhaps switch, as I did, to using your phone on Wifi. Could not have been easier for me to get it installed when I did just that. Now here is the note that perhaps everyone knows. I saw things mentioned about people adding the sub for TV/theatre installation. Not what I needed it for. I just wanted it to add a bit more bass to the music I was playing on multiple speakers throughout and open plan house. I thought I could perhaps just install it, not connect it to any TV type system and have it provide my sub duties. NOT SO.The first question it gives is a swipe screen to connect it to your existing speakers or TV setup. Did not appear that I could get around this step. The sub had to be connected with something you already have. I chose a single living room speaker in the end. Then I had to modify the name of that speaker to indicate the sub was attached to it.I have since created a stereo pair in the living room with the sub attached. Did that to give more balanced coverage as with a single speaker the volume for that speaker was what controlled the sub. Anyway, better sound now with some shuffling of speakers in the home to get the stereo pair and sub system.I dinged the score a little bit for the bit of a do to get it installed, but mostly this connection thing with the sub and the fact that I feel the controls are a bit limited. The only controls I have for the sub are:volume that controls the stereo pair and the sub togetherWhen you go to the sub under the stereo pair heading you can turn the sub on and off with a toggle. You can also adjust the sub level with a minus and plus slider.Lastly, you have a phase control of 0 or 180. I tried both and have the correct sound using the 0 position. That is it for controls that I have found on my system. Don't see anything in the app to adjust the frequency it rolls off at. I'd also appreciate the ability to not have to dig into the stereo pair menu to turn the sub on or off if I want. Would also be nice to have it separate in the list so the volume control was a simple adjustment from the main list of speakers instead of being controlled by the volume of whatever it is connected to. Maybe picky on this part.Overall, happy with the sound quality. Bass in a larger open floor plan room is good. I can tell it has been added from the greater impact and richness of the music. I don't have the gain on it turned way up (is at 3), but I don't expect it to vibrate the whole house. I don't think you should either. I can see it being a nice addition to a TV/theatre build in a smaller room. For me, as I said, happy I added it. The bass is enough for the variety of music I play and the large size of the room it is in. That and I saved some cash from buying the "big" square looking subwoofer. Would have been overkill for me. Especially for the price difference!A nice addition and recommended!

Review: I was able to get this on sale which was great. I love this sub mini. Makes the sound very different. The beam 2 w no sub is incomplete, I can tell now for sure. Highly recommend it clean base nice and tight not sloppy sounding at all. Makes it sound like the movies in my living room.

Title: Balanced sound
Review: I just added it to supplement a Sonos Beam synced with a TV. Incredible balanced sound. I used Sonos’ tuning software to get it really dialed in. Great surround sound paired with an Apple TV. Not cheap but worth it if really into music and movies with big sound.

Review: Connects easily by tying to my Sonos Era 100 speaker (I just use Spotify through my phone over my home network - not the problematic Sonos app). The sound fills the room and fills what I feel is too weak a bass tone in the ERA 100 alone.

They mention that the subwoofer provides good bass in a compact package, filling the room without being too loud. Many find it easy to connect to other Sonos products and work well in smaller rooms. The sleek, minimalist design fits any decor and doesn't show dust. Customers also like the build quality and size. However, some customers dislike the connectivity issues.
