Save some space while you add some massive bass.
The incredible Rockville RMW8P Micro Enclosure ported subwoofer system delivers incredible output and infrasonic bass extension typically only possible from much larger systems. The key to this performance lies in the precise tuning of its Rockville subwoofer driver into an efficient tunnel system with a slot-ported design. The high power handling and high excursion subwoofer converts your amplifier's power into bass you can feel. What’s most impressive is all that bass comes to you in a minimal amount of space – taking up less of your valuable vehicle storage space.
The compact design, which measures less than 5.5” wide, 19” long and 11” high, allows it to be mounted into virtually any car or even compact truck. It works well under or behind the seat of pick up trucks, in car trunks, hatchbacks or SUVs. The RMW8P is built with extensive interior bracing and extremely rigid MDF materials to maximize the enclosure's internal volume while keeping the enclosure ultra stiff and very durable. The tunnel port wraps around the exterior walls of the enclosure to reproduce extremely low frequency tuning that delivers superior bass extension and ultra smooth response. The port entry and exit are flared to further enhance sound quality and minimizes air turbulence and noises through the vent.
This subwoofer system is shipped complete with woofer installed, wired, and ready to connect via a five-way binding post terminal. The enclosure is trimmed in a carbon fiber pattern wrap and high-grade automotive carpet with a “black on black” Rockville logo embroidery on the front baffle. A grill is also included to protect the subwoofer driver.
The Rockville RMW8P is CEA-2031 compliant and rated with an amazing 800 watts peak and 400 watts Program RMS and 200 watts continuous RMS (CEA-2031 compliant).
Rockville RMW8P 8" 800 Watt car subwoofer + tunnel slot ported sub enclosure box
8” high power long excursion tuned subwoofer
Ceja power rated 200 watts / 400 watts RMS / 800 watts peak
1.5” high temperature 4 layer kapton voice COIL

Title: Sounds great.`
Review: I have my RMW8P behind the driver's seat and it sounds great. My 2022 outlander had a spare tire sub that was absolutely useless, so I used that output and ran it through a line output converter to an amp and then to the sub. It's not going to wake the neighbors when I drive down their street, but it has enough thump to very nicely fill in the bottom end.

Title: It is what it is
Review: I love the compact size and the durable box. I listen to heavy metal, classic rock, and blues. This sub is perfect for my musical taste. It doesnt rattle.the windows but sounds great in my f150.

Title: Shakes the windows in my Chevy Spark at 2/3 volume.
Review: I paired this with an Earthquake Sound Mini D1000.4 (Gen 2) 4-channel amp. It is running off the rear 2 channels (bridged) and it shakes the windows in my little car with the volume 1/2 to 2/3 of the way up. It puts out nice clear base and a very satisfying thump. It is all I will ever need for this car, and is a great price as well.

Title: Cheap and alright
Review: Brief summary: If you want more bass and don't have much room or money now, this is a fine unit to get. With it being passive, you can get a good amp and then upgrade this later and not feel too bad about being down about $70.Pros:Cheap ($70 for passive version with sub and box)Sounds ok. I have it set up in my open air Geo Tracker and you can tell the difference with it on versus off. It's not impressive, but it gets the job done.Decently small. Has enough airspace and depth to upgrade to a much better subwoofer over time if you plan on keeping the box. Can fit under seats for sure, measure first.Cons:Smells bad. Must be the glue they use but man does it smell awful. It's been out in the open air for days and still smells bad. Not electronics bad, fishy bad. Kinda smells like my cat's breath. Not very powerful. It's cheap for a reason.Insanely light. I also picked up a 6.5 inch loaded Skar subwoofer to compare and this weighs maybe half as much and is dimensionally much larger. The MDF is 1/2", not 5/8".If it weren't only $70 it would be rated much lower. However, it works and you really do get what you pay for. Maybe leave it in direct sunlight for a few days with some febreeze sprays to get it to smell more neutral. If this ever goes over $90, just get the Skar 6.5" loaded sub instead. The performance is similar, but the Skar is built better and smaller. Set your expectations accordingly.

Title: Little Rockville sub really Rocks!!
Review: This sub does exactly what I was hoping it would do. Fills out my sound system beautifully with out taking up hardly any room in the back of my suv. After breaking in the speaker, the sound is strong and tight. Plays well at low volumes as well due to the slot ported design. I am powering it with a bout 200 watts from a multi channel kenwood amp and seems to be handling the power just fine. This sub will not shake the truck but does a great job at filling in the lows. I have it crossed over at 125hz which seems to be a sweet spot for this sub. The build quality seems to be top notch and looks very nice. For the $$ you would be hard pressed to beat this little guy... If youre looking for a small sub with great sound and dont need to shake the mirrors off yoour car then this will not disappoint.

Review: Don't waste your money... absolute garbage... I have had both now powered and passive. Both are a joke. Claim 400w rms that's a lie, barely take 200w. Just hooked up the passive yesterday to a kenwood excelon 800w rms 5ch .... the stock 6.5 mids have way more jam than the rockville subwoofer.

Review: Right out of the box...NOT WORKING. being In the process of moving made returning a nightmare...so now I've got a wonderful wooden paper weight that I have hard wired the sub to a micro stereo in my garage. The built in amp is the issue it's trash.
