Product Description
Rockville WHEEL OF BASS 8" Slim Under-Seat Powered Truck/Car Audio Subwoofer Sub
Description:
The WHEEL OF BASS by Rockville is an all in one solution to give you great sounding bass in your vehicle without taking up a lot of space. This sub enclosure is only 3.15" tall so it can easily fit under your seat. The WHEEL OF BASS has enough power where you can mount it in your trunk and it will still give you nice clean bass with enough power to get just the right amount of thumpiness.
The amplifier is built in, so installation and wiring is clean and simple. This is a true all in one subwoofer solution with the subwoofer built into the enclosure along with a top of the line amplifier built in as well.
We added high level inputs so you can install this to an aftermarket or factory system. The high level input allows you to install this even if you have no preamp outputs available.
The smart turn-on circuit will sense that an audio signal is present and turn on the amplifier. When you turn off your music signal the sub will automatically turn itself off. Something else we did to make installation quick and easy is we put all the inputs and outputs on one side. This makes wiring easier and neater.
The WHEEL OF BASS has 500 watts of peak power and 125 watts RMS. This has great controls so you can adjust the sound to your liking. It has a level control for the volume and subsonic filter to filter out the really low frequencies which the human ear cannot hear. This also has a low pass crossover filter, phase control, input sensitivity, and bass boost.
Included is a metal remote bass knob, and mounting.
The WHEEL OF BASS looks really cool and sounds equally good mounted under your seat or in your trunk. If you are looking for a compact bass solution in your vehicle then the WHEEL OF BASS by Rockville is the right product for you!

Title: Just to add some extra bass, Honestly over-all good product
Review: I bought it for my 2017 Silverado under the rear seat on the center hub and to be honest I wasnât expecting anything crazy out of it but it has out done my expectations Iâve had it for about 7 month with no problems, I keep it just under half volume on the bass nob and it does damn good, install was straight forward and wiring wasnât difficult even with stock head unit, Rockville is a good brand

Title: Great for smaller vehicles or SUVs
Review: I was skeptical at about buying the under the seat subwoofer... But once I got installed it sound amazing it fills in the lows and make my Factory stereo sound amazing. After reading and watching reviews at the end of the remember is a single 8" sub... It's not going to sound like a box with 2 12's or 15's. I have a Mirage and I mounted under the passenger seat it sounds great.. I don't think it would be powerful enough to mount in the trunk unless you have a hatchback. Quality product and easy to install. I would recommend for users who would like a fuller bottom end on you music. I gave it a 8.5 out of 10 because I haven't had it long enough to rate the longevity over time I'm giving it a 8.5 if it last it will definitely get a perfect 10

Title: 300ZX owners rejoice!
Review: This thing is the perfect fit for that otherwise useless space below the rear deck of the Z32. Hook it up to the power you arenât using on the defunct Bose speakers you ripped out and Bobâs yer Uncle⦠BASS.

Title: Not worth it
Review: Compact and easy to install. Problem is, it gives you minimal bass. Was not expecting booming bass like a full range sub but it is not worth it for what you get out of it.

Title: Much needed bass
Review: I installed this on my Suzuki Burgman 650 scooter. This adds the bass and full sound to my (4) 6.5 inch speakers. It has the right thump to the system. Advice ...ensure that you run the ground direct to the battery for this type of install. So far ... I am very happy with the subwoofer..

Title: Pleasantly Surprised
Review: I purchased this because my son wanted to add some extra bass to the factory system in his 2013 Ford Fusion. I've never been a fan of trunk-rattling subwoofers, but thought this under-seat model would be enough that he could hear/feel that extra low end and get a bit more out of his music.I was a bit skeptical seeing as how compact this model is, but we were both very surprised. Like other reviewers have said, don't expect this to wake up the neighbors. However, it's enough to round out the lower end of the sound spectrum and take some strain off of your woofers. Setup was fairly simple once we figured the best way to get through the firewall and wire it to the battery. The onboard controls make it a cinch to dial in the right frequency range, volume, and gain to complement the factory speakers. Our next step is to attach some passive crossovers to his door speakers and let the Wheel of Bass do the heavy lifting.

Review: Works great and wires up nicely on my 2013 Acura Ilx. Only problem Iâve encountered is the connections to the; power, ground and accessory is too close together and did not stay on nicely. I had to add ferrels and try to space them out. One time the accessory wire and power wire touched and blew the fuse to my stereo and the sub. At least nothing major broke.
Customers say
Customers like the sound quality, ease of installation, and compactness of the speakers. They mention that they fill out the sound very well, have enough bass to slightly rattle a few things in the car, and are great for smaller vehicles or SUVs. However, some customers differ on functionality.
