Title: Quality subwoofer
Review: The subwoofer arrived new and undamaged, and it functions as intended. It is part of an all klipsch 2.1 system hooked to the hta 100 Dayton audio hybrid tube amplifier via a specific 6 ft subwoofer cord with more insulation due to the purpose of the cord. In other words the cord is not an ordinary rca to rca patch cord. Since placement is in a conventional location, the right corner wall I chose to " hardwire " it conventionally instead of using the wireless feature. It will work either way, but in my present " acoustically alive " living room" the conventional corner location is convenient to hardwire by a 6 ft subwoofer cord. When I move, it may be more advantageous to use wireless. I certainly retain the wireless transmitter for possible future use.Quite frankly, the only reason I got the wireless version is because it was a more is less priced item. It was actually cheaper than the same subwoofer model without wireless capability. More was less. Can't lose in a case like that. The subwoofer is an upgrade compared to a Dayton audio 10" sub I upgraded from. These same subwoofers were considerably higher priced than they are now. Don't let the low price fool you into thinking it must not be that good. Klipsch sold this exact wireless subwoofer for $ 449.00 at one time. It is far from the most expensive klipsch subwoofer, and they have alot of subwoofers in the 12 inch size that cost more but in my case, and I think some others as well, this subwoofer is more than sufficient. It gets the job done quite well. My system is 2.1 but I have no doubt it would do well with 5.1 or 7.1 and such as well. 5 stars categorically for price , value , functionality, shipping speed etc. In all these major areas 5 stars from me. It has that copper color sub speaker look that matches that klipsch signature subwoofer and woofer look. I have chosen to use the grill in my case. That is a matter of personal preference of course.

Title: Great wireless sub for the price
Review: This was one of the only wireless sub options for a reasonable price.Easy setup as the wireless dongle is already paired. Hardest part was finding the right setting on my amp that kept 2.1 enabled.Wish they offered this in 10â as a kit for a reasonable price. The size of the enclosure was much bigger than I envisioned. But it fits fine in the space I wanted it with just a little mod to the end table it is under (furniture risers).Sounds great! I have it set pretty low as my wife did not want things vibrating off the tables when we watch action movies. Really added a feeling of space to the sound by not making my towers work on the bottom end. This also helped with bringing the dialog out a bit more. For music this really improved my vinyl listening experience. Letting the towers work in the mids and highs more really cleaned up the sound.Quality overall is excellent. Well built. If you are looking for a reasonably priced wireless subwoofer that gives an excellent boost to your system⦠Look no further.

Title: Easy install powerful sound
Review: The Wireless connection was as easy as plugging it in. Automatically connected and it's 40 feet apart. This thing has BIG sound. It's really good- if you are looking for heart pounding sound this is it. It's so big I had to dial the volume way back for it to balance with my mains. Time to upgrade! Great value for the $$

Title: It slaps
Review: Wow, are you ready?Absurd amount of bass, like Rockford for your house. I'm very pleased. Even at half volume it's block rocking. Low crossover can be turned up higher than any I've had before it. Nice blue light glow. Wireless works well. Can't believe the price for the performance, especially comparing it to car audio these days.

Title: This thing drops
Review: This sub drops like a stripper when them gubmint checks hit. Amazingly fast shipping, product was in perfect condition, and sounds unbelievable. It has an adjustment for frequency, gain, and a switch to 180 the subs phasing. Only possible downside is itâs physical size but itâs a 12â sub so itâs something that shouldnât be a huge shock to anyone. Very clear and accurate deep lows as well as tight reproduction throughout its range. Imo, itâs well worth the money.

Title: Great Boom for Buck
Review: At the purchase price of $300, you'll have a hard time finding another subwoofer offering the same features and sound quality. The biggest draw for me was the wireless connection, as running a subwoofer cable was impractical in my case. It has been solid, and required no extra work on my part. The wireless transmitter was pre-paired to the subwoofer, and I have had no interruptions, disconnects, or interference yet.Sound quality is pretty good. I haven't experienced any muddy, sloppy, or terribly boomy bass. Especially since adding some sound isolation feet, and using my receiver's room calibration adjustments, I've been pretty happy. This sub has plenty of power - I keep the gain dial at about 30%. I have yet to wish it could get louder in my system.Although, it's not without its drawbacks. The biggest being its low-end frequency response. It's rated at 29Hz +/-3dB, but realistically, you'll get something more like 35Hz. For a 12-inch driver, I'd love for it to get much closer to 20Hz. And when you are within its frequency range, you'll find that it's not very flat, peaking noticeably around 50Hz. This will of course vary by room dimensions and whatnot, but don't expect a flat response curve from this. While not perfect, it's a darn good value, and will be perfectly acceptable for most home theater applications - good enough for me that I've purchased another for an additional room.If you're looking at $300 or less subs, don't hesitate with this one, it's absolutely worth the price. But if it sells for more than that, start looking at other options, or save for something in $500-$600 range. At the end of the day, this subwoofer continues to put a smile on my face.
