Title: Too small in circumference.
Review: The lid for my Cuisinart food processor fit on this bowl so tightly that it was extremely hard to get to release. I knew that would not be good when I needed to add to the mixture or open at completion of a job. I returned the item. I don't know where to find a better replacement bowl.

Title: Exactly what I needed
Review: I acquired my mother in law's food processer when she was moved into a nursing home. Over time, the handle broke loose from the bowl and someone had placed it on a hot element on the stove, so one of the notches on the bottom had melted off and I had to hold it down on that side to make it work because it no longer locked into place on that side. I had been looking for quite some time to replace the bowl. Was very happy to find this one as the motor works just fine, and replacing the whole food processor was quite expensive.

Title: How well it fits...
Review: This bowl can work but the fit -- top and bottom are way too tight. It takes a fair amount of force to rotate the bowl omto the base and rotate onto the locking 2 tabs. For the top mounting Cuisinert piece, it is more difficult to rotate. This locks onto the Vanshly bowl and pushed down the switch rod when fully rotated (locked). The alignment was off on the bowl but could be forced to work. Can't see my wife working with this so I sent it back..

Title: Not perfect, but saves my beloved Cuisinart
Review: This bowl shipped super-fast, which I love. Somehow the box it came in looked freakishly small, but yes, they sent the right one. Regarding my 4-stars review: The fit with the original top is tight, which I expect to loosen up after a little bit. There were some burrs on the plastic I trimmed off. Plastic wall thickness seems less than the original part. Overall, I'm pleased, I can keep using my 40 year old DLC7, and this part was the ONLY one I could find online. Awesome vendor, I'd definitely buy from them again!

Review: At the time of purchase, I thought that this bowl was a real discovery, as the originals were extremely hard to find. When I received it, it appeared to be of not great quality, particularly the excess material around the bottom centre column. Also, I noticed that the white interlock shaft was not a good fit at all in the column (see photo) and led to rough operation when putting on the lid. The real reason that I feel not so great about this purchase was its price, almost $100 Canadian, and the fact that the correct bowl became available through Cuisinart for $35 and is of far superior quality. So now I have two and the inferior one will be my back up! It is not easy to be sure that one is ordering the correct bowl (2 tab) from Cuisinart but if you order part no. DLC-005AGTX-1 it will be the correct one for the DLC-7.
