I got familiar with the country, Sweden, during an elective history course that I took while I was in my Master School.
I learnt so many fun facts about Sweden. How Swedes don’t keep waste as they recycle everything. But they also need waste to keep their incinerators working!
So where do they get waste? Do they import from Norway? That had to be one of the most mind-boggling historical facts that I had ever heard about.
Also, I learnt that there is a hotel made of ice in Sweden!! Can you believe that?!
Furthermore, I learnt that Coca Cola has very low patronage in Sweden unlike its huge popularity in other countries.
The national soda in Sweden is known as Julmust! And the Swedes claim that their national festive soda (Julmust) tastes better than Coca Cola!
Also, in Sweden, the sun sets by 3:30pm during Winter and rises at 3:30pm during Summer!!
In addition, when you say, “a little” in Sweden, it means that you said “a lot”'! Oh my!!!
Of all the things that I learnt about Sweden, there was one thing that I wasn’t taught, which was the types of foods eaten in Sweden!
Being someone who loves foreign dishes, I was besotted with this question “what do Swedes eat?”. In my quest to know what they ate, I got familiar with so many different Swedish recipes that I fell in love with!
Truth is that I fell in love with every single Swedish recipe I unfolded because although they are weird and different from what I was used to, they were really tasty!!
In this recipe book, I have highlighted some of these recipes for you to explore and enjoy too!
So, if you need an answer to the question “What do Swedes eat?”, get this recipe now!!
