It’s a fact: Americans love tots, and last year consumed 3.5 billion of them. And not just at home. From fast-food joints to high-end restaurants, chefs are joining the tot trend, serving exotically spiced tots or fun mash-ups like Totchos, with tots replacing the corn chips in nachos. But now, prepare for TOT-al domination! Created by mad-genius food blogger Dan Whalen, Tots! elevates the friendly little tater to its place in the culinary spotlight.
This irresistible cookbook with a nubby tot-texture on the cover offers 50 delicious, playful, and surprising recipes for snacks, appetizers, inspired main dishes, and inspired sides, even desserts. (Yes, you could create an entire tot-centric dinner.) Here are party dishes like Buffalo Tots and Tot Poutine. A Tot Caesar for an elegant starter. Tots for breakfast, like Tots Benedict and a Tot Shakshuka, and tots for dinner—Moules Tots, Chicken Tot Pie, Tater Tot Pizza, and Bibimtot. Side dishes—next Thanksgiving, try Sausage and Tot Stuffing. And for sweets lovers, Tot Churros (deep-fried and dipped in chocolate ganache), Apple Tot Crumble (that crispy salty tot topping really plays off the warm sweet apples), and Tot S’mores—a heavenly melt of a dish.
Every recipe uses frozen commercial tots—but Dan Whalen also shows die-hard tot lovers how to make tots from scratch and then alter their creations with different spices (think Tots Vindaloo) and sauces. It’s TOT-ally awesome.

Title: Quality Print and Awesome Recipes
Review: This is one of the best cookbooks I've ever had the pleasure of purchasing. Everyone loves tots and this cookbook has 50 different recipes involving them. There are a ton of variations in here and worth the effort that they will take to make, like most of TheFoodInMyBeard's recipes. This book is cut out in the shape and texture of a pile of cooked tots. Also, it's basically 10 bucks. Stop being cheap and buy this book for your friends, family, and for yourself.

I think my favorite is the salted caramel tot cookies but it's hard to decide! There are even tot appetizers for when you want something delicious and unique (why bring the same old cheese board?)Well done and the cover/shape is so fun and the perfect size!

Title: For fans of potato tots
Review: Looks like a lot of fun recipes, and I look forward to trying them. A spiral binding would be a better format for a cookbook.

Title: Bring on the tots!
Review: If you love the tots this is a must have. The recipes are great and it is pretty hard to mess up tater-tots. I wish there were more pictures but that is just nit picking. He is also a great follow on Instagram for all kinds of non-tater tot recipes as well.

Title: Gave as a gift â it became a favorite
Review: I bought this for a gift after seeing it on CBS. News. I thought it was a gag, but they tot-ally loved it. I kept getting texts about recipes theyâd made over New Years and how much fun and good they were. Who wouldâve thought? So this is as much a gag as it is a good gift.

Review: Being British I didnât realise this was all recipes for Tater Tots which are quite hard to come by round here. I thought the author was just doing some cutesie slang for potatoes when they say Tots, I guess Tater Tots is a trademark so they canât say it.There is a recipe for making your own but I donât think Iâll be bothering.
